Within the past 6 hours or so somebody has been making crazy and illegal offers up on Armslist using nearly identical text and always this contact number: (646) 480-0856 which happens to be out of Manhattan.

Searching the number brings up listings that have since been flagged as scams while searching the number within Armslist itself continues to bring up new listings.

Watch Bloombergs anti-gun org for some ridiculous report on buying over the internet in the next week or so.

Yes, that sounds like normal gun control advocate sock puppet antics.
Trying to screw up the system and give a bad impression on the site.

If any of the illegal post stay on the site for a while, then the person will use one of their other sock puppets in a gun control forum to point out the “obviously illegal” stuff being sold on that website.

You see the sock puppets on this and many other forums doing the same type of crap.

I'm quite sure that there are plenty of agencies trolling these boards.

I've been approached by a few people with weird stories.

One guy told me that hes from Oklahoma but is in NY and would like to do a "cash deal". When I explain to these people that the sale has to go through a FFL, they disappear...
