The 4: (Update!)

Who are the four. Haveing scanned through the members in the tool bar i have noticed members called 1,2,3 and 4 there member status is the four. What is this.

it could be something to do with the rings... i think it was a ATS game or something...not really sure

yer it must be....Sounds the most plausable...Maybe it could be member status like. It could be used to set certain levels of access, I doubt it though.

The rings was an ATS sponsored game, and it ended some months ago. Disregard the4, they've outlived their usefulness.

Actually, I played and really enjoyed the FindTheRings game.

There was 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Cerebus, Chromline, and a variety of other's involved.

It was a wild, coded, ring chase on the internet, that spanned month's.

The winner's were awarded some great prizes including gold rings, site enhancements, and best of all, a great WEBSITE.

It was and still is a lot of fun.

The 4 were fake members created by the administration to play the game. That's it.

The current 4, are;

Seth Bullock
JCMinJapan

The original 4 you noticed in the member lists were game personalities that were part of the game.
Their personalities were 'charachters' in the hunt for the rings.

This went on so long, that that is no easy answer.


I pulled up the category where it is all at,... ends on the second page in this category, and goes all the way back to the beginning on page 13.

ATS Sponsored Games & Events

As you can see there are hundreds of posts about what the 4 did. And how the game progressed. It is quite an interesting read.

O.k so who put the banner down there. What was find the rings about then.

Well, as the game progressed, it became obvious that 4 persons will win a prize of sorts. They key to winning was finding information posted thruout, decode it if necessary, apply the clue to the next directions, and knowing what to do with whatever knowledge found. It was,... quite interesting and frustrating at times also.

I found the first 'Online' ring at SportzTawk.com

A gold ring as pictured was sent to me upon confirmation of my eligibility.



As the game continued, 3 other persons ultimately found their own rings.

Upon the conclusion of the 4 of us finding our rings, we had to determine how to use a secret word that was inscribed inside the ring band.

This was in itself harder than thought.

But JCMinJapan figured out what to do with the words, and opened up a whole new website available to all.
