Apparently, physicists have found what they believe to be Higgs Boson.
Physicists announced today they believe they have discovered the subatomic particle predicted nearly a half-century ago, which will go a
long way toward explaining what gives electrons and all matter in the universe size and shape.
Having analysed two and a half times more data than was available for the discovery announcement in July, they find that the new particle is looking
more and more like a Higgs boson, the particle linked to the mechanism that gives mass to elementary particles.
However, the article states that it's really an open question. The particle could just be one of the lightest bosons or it really could be the
Higgs Boson. What do you guys think of this?
EDIT: Just realized someone beat me to it. Never mind. Mods, could you please remove this thread?
