So, the other day, I saw a package on the shelf that actually said Brain something something. I think it was in the health section. But anyways, this is a pill bottle that cost OMG, like $50 bucks man. From what I read it's like suppose to enhance your brain skills.

But, I was just curious if anyone else has seen these and if they have taken them?

Just curious if they work or not?

I mean, I don't just want to hop right in and be gullible.

I can't stand everyone else being smarter than me though.

So, I was debating on whether to level the playing field.

Forgot what the box looked like.

I don't know about pills,

But I have heard of people drilling holes in their skull. Something about more oxygen to the brain makes it work more efficiently.

Might wanna read about nootropics. Piracetam probably being the most commonly used.

They really do work, for some people. And they don't exactly make you any smarter, but do help with concentration and lifting 'brain-fog'.

No matter who you are or where you go, there will always be someone smarter (except in my case of course
). Just be the best "you" that you can be.

Trepanation is the term (not sure if I spelled it correctly)...

Brain pills?
You mean it isn't a food supplement for zombies?

Seriously though, seems they are different than when they first came on the market, and studies are based on the OLD derivative, so no evidence these work....

From the Mayo Clinic:

Phosphatidylserine (fos-fuh-tie-dul-SER-een) is a dietary supplement that has received some interest as a potential treatment for Alzheimer's disease and other memory problems. Several studies involving phosphatidylserine indicate a benefit — improved cognitive abilities and behaviors. However, improvements in memory lasted only a few months and were seen in people with the least severe symptoms.

Initially, phosphatidylserine supplements were derived from the brain cells of cows. However, because of concerns about mad cow disease, most manufacturers now produce phosphatidylserine supplements from soy or cabbage derivatives. Early studies, though promising, were based on cow-derived supplements. It's not known if plant-based phosphatidylserine supplements offer any benefits.

Keep in mind that the Food and Drug Administration doesn't require manufacturers to provide evidence of the potential risks and benefits of phosphatidylserine — or of any supplement. Consult your doctor before starting any dietary supplement.

No that's not what it's called.

Brain was the first word on the box, which caught my eye.

He meant Trepanation is the word for the drilling of the holes in the head, not the name of the pills you saw

See I think that's why I need them.

I'm getting dumber and dumber each day.

Man, I think I'm getting old.
