she may have got the best price for them if she'd dressed them in hip ethnic or nerd gear and stuck them on etsy?

regardless - we are developing some useful ideas

History will say this is far from the new low.

I mean c'mon. King David put babies to the sword for the lord.

We could take a look at the ethnic cleansing of Africa.

Also, there is this human trafficking / sex slave dynamic in the black market that isn't just the plot device for a seedy Hollywood crime drama.

Is anyone really surprised by this? It is almost surprising that somebody would be that stupid.

Seriously... in the link provided there is a "related story" about a kid being sold to a child pornographer... which has additional links to more horrific child abuse stories that go beyond selling another human for a cool grand.

Thanks for bringing attention to it though. The kids are probably better off with the state than a degenerate like her and her boo that probably put it in her soft head to do such a despicable thing.

Man that chick is a beast. Apparently inside & out.

People who do this are not "human", they are not even "animals" as animals don't do this type of disgusting behavior, they are cellular trash and do not have a place in society or life in general, meaning, this is where I say to exercise capital punishment quickly!

Laughing at all of you who find this just abhorrent! This isn't new. Obviously the black market for kids is not the way to go, but how many parents are out there waiting desperately on adoption lists?

So a mother can give her child away (adoption) and be a hero, but God forbid she tries getting a measly $1000 she's a monster?

For those that fail to look at the bigger picture, there's not much difference except red tape.

I understand and see what you mean and YES I know Humans throughout the years have done some nasty stuff.... I guess what I was saying is it's a new low for Facebook and for ways of which people will find to sell things!!

She could have put them up for adoption but is she going to receive any cash for that?

IMO... she should not be a Mother at all!!

Like Smiley said, there are people who can't have children and then you get ones like in the OP, who don't care what happens to their children!!

Of course she had to be from Oklahoma, as if out-of-staters didn't already have enough stereotypes about us. I just wonder what the intention of the alleged buyer was?

I've said it many times before and I will say it again, especially when it comes to children being used as weapons in failed relationships...CHILDREN ARE NOT PROPERTY!! YOUR OWN CHILDREN ARE NOT ASSETS THAT BELONG TO YOU!! THEY ARE A BLESSING FROM GOD!! These FU***NG MORONS need to grow up, get a life or do everyone a big favour and make the the human race a tiny smidgen more bearable by offing themselves!
(extremely p***ed off!)

PEACE OUT!!

The gall!

They would have probably been better off anyway.

You are absolutely correct.

Let this be a lesson to everyone, you can't just sell your kids.
Put them on craigslist and simply ask for a "small re-homing fee".

This is a new low in Humans!! I can't understand how someone could get so desperate that they have the need to sell one of their children to bail out their boyfriend!!

Wow!

Would you do this with your child for the love of your partner?
[...]

They said the 22-year-old mother was looking to get $1,000 (£670) for her two-year-old, or $4,000 (£2,680) for the toddler and her 10-month-old baby.

Seriously?

You people... I have to laugh. Anyone who is outraged at this woman has skidded off their moral high ground. "Do Not Judge" isn't just a good idea, it's an imperative form of the concept of "every action causes an equal and opposite reaction". Judging is the metaphysical equivalent to peeing into a strong wind.

You are not in a position to judge this woman. If you think you are, you will be schooled. Enjoy the horror of looking into the depths of your own souls and finding all the things you hate, because just like the sunrise, it's coming. That is all.

1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3Without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

A sign of end of times - 2 Timothy 3:2

As far as this article goes - 'Without natural affection'

That's what I'm reminded of simply by reading this article. In fact, I'm reminded of that verse everyday I log into Facebook as well. I truly do believe whole heartily we are indeed living in the end of times.

I would never in an infinity amount of years sell my daughter for all the knowledge in the Universe even with an infiinty amount of money mixed with it. This woman (notice I didn't say mother?) should be ashamed of herself. But sadly, it's only going to get worst before it gets better or even worst? It's just going to keep on getting worst.

Yea...you have to laugh at the self-righteousness displayed in some of these responses. She may have serious problems, including mental problems. Of course it wasis illegal and should be, but she went about this in an odd way when she could have put them up for adoption.

Either way, if my parents had tried to sell me i would i would have said "ok, see ya....take care. It was nice knowing you".

Well if they are demented enough to sell their children. Then let it happen, most likely they will be better off with someone else... ok no more sarcasm, should throw this woman in a sinkhole.

You have made a completely understandable cognitive error. My alert was for the purpose of calling some to awareness of the self-damaging nature of judging "someone else". The bit about the horror? A mere factual statement. At no time did I make a value judgment of those who are judging this woman. I've been there, done that, and gotten spanked for it. All I'm trying to say is "don't touch the stove, it's hot and it will burn you". If you want to fantasize that somehow you're superior to me for being clever enough to call out the one judging the judgers, you are welcome to. But that stove is HOT, and you can't say that you weren't warned when the horror hits you (as it does everyone, it's a normal, natural stage in human spiritual development).

What you're missing is that "judge not, lest ye be judged" is a conditional warning. We humans routinely blind ourselves to our true motivations. We do this because it is so uncomfortable to face our own selfishness. Of course you have "a right" to judge anyone. Just like you have "a right" to put your hand on the stove. But is it really something you want to do? Having "a right" does not make you "in the right", nor does it mitigate consequences for doing stupid things.

What makes you think anyone related to this "woman" would be a suitable caretaker for children? Birds of a feather flock together... How do you think she learned such a warped sense of reality? These children deserve a kind, loving environment - nowhere near her or the savages that brought her up.

But sometimes you have to put your hand on the stove, insome cases you cant avoid it, if we didnt then we would never learn from our mistakes, and wouldnt advance as a species for the common good. Take war for example...mankind has been waging it on his neighbour for thousands, if not millions of years, it is a primeval instinct, but most of the technological advances and some of the learning has come about from this, just to be better or get one over on your foes, and war is a HUGE mistake, but without it...would we really be wherewe are today as a result of being peacefull? food for thought dont you think? And my last post to you wasnt a personal slur against you for judging, I was just trying to show you the futility of the statement as it can go round and round in circles...never ending, you catch my drift?

PEACE ON YOU MY FRIEND!!
