Marking posts with STARS reminds me when I was in school and the teacher set up a star reward system for good class work. Something like 10 green stars equals 1 red star, 5 red stars equals 1 gold/yellow star and 3 gold stars equals a free candy bar from the school canteen.

Is this a legitimate celebration, or did you just invent it to commemorate an historical deity you admire?

I could never get my head around what discordians actually believe in. Would someone mind explaining it to me in laymans terms please? A friend of mine showed me a book about it and it just seemed like nonsense.

To my understanding, it's a questionable religion that subscribes to the belief that order and chaos are both subjective states of observation. As a result, there is no definable purpose to reality and we're just here for the ride.
