Tuition Assistance Suspended for all Branches

I am enraged.

I know there are several topics regarding the matter but I thought you guys would like to see a direct email from Uncle Sam Air Force edition. I am in the military in the air force and enlisted for not just it's benefits but to serve my country as well only to be threatened every year to have something taken away from me such as a pay reduction to us underpaid warriors.

Tuition Assistance is what kept military members in line striving for success in the future after enduring hardship and sacrifice. The least that could have been done was give a warning such as "Next semester TA will be cut off" but instead they chose to sweep everything under the rug at the last minute leaving thousands unprepared, men and women.

They choose to aid countries and be "The World's Heroes" rather than helping us right at home. They choose greed (congressman) increasing their pay rather than helping others. The U.S. has it's priorities wrong and needs a new leader. All branches of the US Military have now been stripped of Tuition Assistance and millions of "warriors" future for success has been forced to a halt.

With that I give you the email. The header removed. Thank you dear government and thank you Obama.

My son called the wife and I last night about this letter here as he is in the USAF as well.
He says he is finishing his time and getting out.
Funny ehh?
I imagine israel is still getting full funding, both weapons and cash aid.
Bail out the other guys ship while ours sinks...
We need to stop supporting terrorists organizations and start fixing US.

I agree. I received the same email last night. I like most are pretty upset by this. Priorities are all wrong. They take TA away. Threaten to not pay us (last year). Are in talks about taking our free medical away (to be replaced by obama care). Yet can receive a pay raise, give away 250 million to Egypt, Who knows how many more billions are sent to other countries. While our country is failing.

This is the precursor to initiating a full out draft in the U.S.

As I assume, less and less people will be enlisting to fight for a country that doesn't give a crap about them.

IDK about Israel, but Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood just got a buttload of F-16's and cash totaling a quarter of a Billion dollars. Hate the right people if you have to hate at all.

Military pay and benefits should be the last thing cut.

Illegal Aliens? They get better treatment than the soldiers who serve this country:

A bill allowing lower tuition rates for illegal immigrant students received final approval from state House lawmakers Friday.

The lesson here? Folks who do not mean this country well are making more and more laws to rule us by.

This country has plenty of money to fund studies to discover why lesbians tend to be fat. We can spend fortunes to teach Moroccans how to make pottery. Don't get me started on robotic squirrels and Pizza for Mars.

But White House tours are cut?

How much more until even the sports & celebrity-sedated useful idiots discover how they've been played?

My guess is never, even after we've been rounded up into well controlled population centers, living in our "free" state provided hovels, eating our "free" state provided rations and forced to work at gunpoint thanks to no one wealthy enough to be looted further, to pay for our dreamy collective utopia.

So, we clearly can't count on them.

Then, who can we count on?

I read an article a couple years ago that stated that a new contract for fueling military aircraft was paying $50 a gallon. It replaced the old contract at less than $4 a gallon. The new contract was with an Obama campaign donor. They could cut less painful things than tuition. They just want it to hurt. The current administration cares nothing for people. It is all about the agenda of installing Socialism.

There are so many wrong/backward things going on. The World is upside down! It is always the Military active and retired that gets threatened or cut. Or Social Security. I think we need to quit sending money all over the World. It is PAST time to take care of the USA.

Do you think they want veterans in our institutions of future power calling BS on all the global grab? Cut the tuition... If we could find men and women smart enough we could devise a plan to assist them in place of the illegal government.

I sure hope they leave the MGIB alone. I don't understand why they always go after the enlisted guy's wallet first..

If anyone in the military or a veteran thinks the democrats are on there side think again.

You can also check on military equipment to protect the guys in combat. The democrats have cut or done away with new equipment and research into new equipment that our troops may need in the future.

They are even robbing the military of armored trucks to supply Homeland security. gun grab??????.

Seen this coming for a while now. Next cut will be no more free medical coverage for active duty families. They'll raise copayments and not allow dependents to be seen on base. Maybe even scrap tricare and rely on champus. Active duty retirement will be given at 57 years of age and not upon retirement.

TA cuts are the tip of the iceberg.... Even if they get the budget situated, DoD wreck less spending will cause the above to come true.

For those of you out there that think no TA is a reason to not reup...good. The military needs people who actually want to serve. Go ask a policeman on how much TA he gets now, then ask him how much bah he gets, now ask how much bas, and ask him if how much more he gets paid for getting shot at.

TA loss? TA was a burden to the tax payers. Time to start spending wisely for our country's future and stop thinking about ourselves.

This is just a sampler of the monies that are above board.
I imagine the US could take all of these funds just to israeli terrorists and fix alot of problems.
Of course you must know that israel is the United States biggest terrorist, but for some reason we seem to fully support them and give them more aid than any other nation!
All of the while we cut programs here in the US, there is something terribly wrong with this picture.
You see I am not hating on the terrorists in israel, there is a very good reason for my feelings.
By way of deception, thou shalt do war. Sounds like a rat to me.

Just another reason not to join the U.S. military. Not even the number one reason to not join, but I bet this will deter a lot of enlistees. Well, hopefully this saves more lives. Thanks uncle Sam.
