So I took some shots this evening with the FD 80mm - 210mm lens that I modified to not only fit on my Canon Rebel, but also so it would focus to
infinity.
Wind was blowing quite a bit out there tonight, but here are some of the shots. They are cropped to fit here on ATS. No stacking or anything else done
to them:
Orion's Nebula, finally seeing some pink here. This was 10 second exposure at 6400 ISO, F stop at 3.8:
I moved the camera up to Alnitak, the eastern most star in Orion's belt and wanted to see if I could capture some light from the Flame Nebula, and
I'll be darned! I actually captured it faintly! Exposure time 20 seconds at ISO 6400:
And last, I was goofing around seeing if I could remember where the Rosetta Nebula was (it's there, but I bumped the camera), and ended up catching a
meteor:
