NJ Mom Arrested and Guns Confiscated After Speaking Out at Public Meeting

www.thegatew aypundit.com

Eileen Hart and her husband, Keith, are property owners in Newfield, New Jersey.
On Saturday, March 9 there was an informal meeting at the Gloucester Community Center, to discuss the findings on “revaluations” by Appraisal Systems, Inc.- a company which has been contracted by the state of New Jersey- to assess the fair market property values for each county or borough- for the tax assessor’s offices.
There has been much derision caused by these “revaluations” by homeowners, because property values have fallen dramatically- and the real estate market has been hit very hard .
There is nothing “fair” about the market or the home values that have been assessed, according to many New Jersey families.

Ms. Hart attended the meeting, armed with- as she said “her Constitution and the facts.”

How can you be held in contempt not being a court of law? Disorderly conduct maybe. Looks to me like the gov is looking for more money to squeeze out of us. Speaking out against an incompetent morally bankrupt governemnt is just too over the line for some. Why let a piece of paper like the US Constitution get in the way of financial gain? Sorry if this has been posted. Didnt find it in a search.

This is fascism, pure and simple.

She is a thought criminal who defies the benevolent wisdom of powers greater than her. And she will pay.

And she will serve as a warning and example to others. Dare to speak out? Do so at the peril of any freedoms you have left, komrade.

Consider America Fundamentally Transformed.

You know whenever i see a title or a thread that has the word 'mom' in it i always know its going to be a story about how some innocent woman has been badly treated. But because they feel the need to specify 'mom' it always makes me wonder just how innocent the lady really was. I mean if its a totally clear cut case they usually just say 'a woman' but if they need to try to push you slightly in the direction for her being innocent they will say 'a mom'.

Just an observation

Ill go back to reading the op now lol

That's no accident. Thought criminals are fair game for public suspicion and hatred.

She is guilty of daring to speak up in defiance of her betters, who rule us, thus know whats best for us, collectively.

She'll know better now, and others will think twice before doing the same.

That was nothing more than a SWATTING. A democrat leaning socialist yuppie who did not like the woman talking in a normal voice and not yelling like they do about bush this corporations that. Since when does a person get arrested stating facts from a document that built this country? Someone bears false witness against you and then the cops see it as a oppurtunity to take your legally bought guns. Its going to become common so they can take your guns or hold you in jail until you give in just liek child support does.

The stock market does not rally in a Communist regime com-rade-mode whatever, and we're not transformed. This oligarchy and plutocracy has been at work in the shadows of government in the form of billionaires their lobbyists and the politicians they bought since we landed on Plymouth Rock. I remember it being a joke in television programs to "buy a politician" as early as the 70's anyway and there is a reason the rich get richer (check the stats.) and the poor get poorer. It isn't a coincidence. It is planned that way. The ruling classes, the merchant classes and freemen. This is how it has always been. The "government" they are trying to dismantle is all there remains protecting the freemen from Industry driven policy and the replacement of our Constitutional Protection with absolute Corporate Power. The next time one of your local landmarks name is changed from a life long hero to a product sponsor, think about it. Soon we will be the US of Walmart.

The stock market "rallied" because the Federal Reserve just bought up a mountain of our debt, which is in essence, printing even more money out of thin air, enslaving workers for generations more.

That is not the free market. That is not capitalism. It is a charade which only fools the "useful".

If every time something like this happened, thousands of people descended on the city that perpetrated it, and demanded due process. This crap would stop in short order.

But as it is, they get by with it because the people of this country won't combine their collective constitutional right to free speech and grievance redress. Therefore, you can keep reading the headlines and weeping, because it isn't getting any better folks. It's only going to get worse.

My property was revaluated by ASI last year. After mis-measuring my house and adding another 300 square feet and calculating that I had a finished basement with the same size footprint as the house (even thoough it was never excavated to that size) due to the 'assessor' not entering the basement and using incorrect means to measure, I was offered an option to 'settle'. We chose not to and fought the calculations and eventually got the correct square footage used for our property tax assessment.

The end result was still not great, my taxes went up close to $3,000, but it was better than what was initially ruled ($8,000). Only myself and one other person in my neighborhood managed to avoid the full revaluation, everyone else was stuck with the rulings.

Hmmm... Her cause may be right but two big things stand out. She went to a County/Government complex ( County Center or Community Center ) for a meeting with a gun. Now I checked to be sure...and New Jersey is among the most unforgiving and strict in the United States on carrying a gun in any form.

CARRYING
It is unlawful to knowingly have in your possession a: Handgun, including any antique handgun, without first obtaining a Permit to Carry. No distinction is drawn between carrying openly or concealed. Rifle or shotgun without first obtaining a FID card. It is Illegal to carry a loaded shotgun or rifle in any vehicle, or to shoot from any vehicle or across any road.
(Source: New Jersey Fireams Law Summary / NRA )

Someone knew she had a gun. How did ANYONE ever know she had a gun? Even if permitted, concealed means concealed and I am at a loss for how attending armed ever comes into it ...unless violating that local/state law in belief a copy of the Constitution would make a difference was the point?

*Just an FYI, but despite how open and accommodating Missouri is for firearms, I think I'd go to jail too if I attended a community meeting at anything like State/local/city property while carrying my gun and someone noticed. That's not a 'no gun sign' issue that can be ignored until asked to leave. Thats black letter law on those places.......

Contempt of what??? This woman needs a civil rights attorney. And gun confiscation? What the hell is going on here? Reading from The Constitution is now a terroristic threat?

Gather up all involved in this woman's arrest. Strip them of all authority. Lock them up.

There are only a few thousand concealed carry permits in the state and most are in the possession for former law enforcement.

Yeah, I think ours was like $130,000 or so. The only time in my life that I was happy my house was worth less.
