The 3-D printers are only good for a few rounds of a gun, then they fall apart.

Keep looking.
There are some people that are printing most components and going 100 rounds or so.

As for the napalm. You may want to remove that. ATS doesn't like seeing directions for such things.

By giving a tax rebate intead of a tax increase for "reducing crime"; you are essentially encouraging people to use their guns like vigilantes.

Speaking of taxes, how about dropping the taxes on my pack of cigarettes? I pay over $10 a pack.

I don't agree with taxing the hell out of guns/ammo.

I think it's insane to offer tax rebates to gun owners, many of which aren't trained. Some gun owners don't even know how to clean their guns. They simply bought them because the big, bad government was coming after them.

I remember when all of this legislation was being drafted. On ATS you'd think the world acutually WAS going to end (unlike the 2012 stuff :lol
. . . And where are we now? Most of the proposed bills have stalled, hell -- even NYC is looking to repeal their newly passed legislation.

Now, that doesn't mean that they'll stop trying -- it just shows that the mood and mentality of the country is on the pro-gun side. That should count for something!

It is merely just another revenue for the already bloated and thieving Govt.

edit your post, you quoted the instructions...

and I would think the 3d printers would be better off used in creating ammo as opposed to the firearm itself.

either stop taxing us on everything(in some cases two or three times over) or use our taxes more for the benefit of the American people. not for war and foreign aid...

3d printers can't yet produce the gunpowder/primers and the casings produced cant take the force of being fired so its a bit of a meh thing when you'd be lucky to produce a shell that could fire a round 10 yards

I'm aware its not capable of creating the entire round, but it would still assist in creating it. I also imagine it would be best suited for closer range, I'm thinking of shatter shot in a shotgun.

however the concept of printing with a stronger material, perhaps graphene, would make a much better round.

The tax rebate comment was an off the cuff comment made by a VP with the NSSF not a legislator. His comment carries no weight and was simply in response to the other tax nonsense being proposed by elected legislators. How about a .05 per bullet tax? They've done it (taxed to death) to our gasoline and utilities what's to stop them from doing this? Taxes and surcharges hit us from every angle. LIke the surcharge on your phone bill to pay for the Obamaphone program. It should be an elective option...

I agree that your cigarette tax is BS also. Many moons ago the geniuses in Cleveland hit the residents of Cuyahoga county with a sin tax on Cigs. and beer just so they could build a new stadium for the Indians. A for profit stadium built on the backs of taxpayers in more ways than one. Now those cigarette smokers who helped pay for it can barely smoke within its walls. Back then, the border stores were booming in all of the neighboring counties.

The problem is that even a small charge per gun/box of ammo will make a nice profit line in someones government accounts and when someone wants some money for a silly project they'll go and up that amount so that it will pay for it, its just like tobacco and once you hit a certain point of price people will just go into smuggling the stuff as it will be worth it and then you have a completely unregulated marketplace and you end up spending more than it would cost to just not tax it to enforce the laws which ends up stupid

BINGO!!! WE HAVE A WINNER!!!!

It is not possible to legislate morals to Americans, if the people want somthing the .gov says they cant have, somebody in every community will be abke to get it for those that want it.

I really wish these people would just take 5 mins a review history, say prohibition, or the war on drugs.

All they do is empower the crooks, by building a black market for them. None of this is difficult to understand, well maybe some of us have brains that function correctly, so it seems obvious to us.

Sorry , your data is old news. The newset one just rapped off over 650 rounds nonstop and was still functional. The next version will be even better.

Interesting. Is it still using the same type of ABS plastic

I'm wondering why one would only last a few rounds, yet this one hundreds.

A rise in taxes on handguns purchased in New Jersey? Tony Soprano must be rolling in his grave (and did Tony get whacked in the last episode of The Sopranos).

Let's talk about taxing stuff in New Jersey....like taxing cigarettes:

Cigarette Smuggling Costing New Jersey
And make good money. According to Norcross, gangs can make up to $4 a pack. In turn, 40 percent of cigarettes in New Jersey are sold illegally. An act that affects many.
www.newjerseynewsroom.com...

And let's be honest about the law enforcement agencies in New York and Jersey......They get their payoffs, so I heard.

Now, I've got to go look for some statistics on how much tax revenue New Jersey is losing from guns sold on the black market.

When the Volstead Act went into effect, the cost of a shot of whiskey went from a nickel to eighty five cents.

Hiram Walker moved to Canada to begin brewing the Canadian Club whiskey he sold to the Detroit Purple Gang and Al Capone and everyone else.

Tell the American people they can't have a gun and they'll find a way to pay more for a gun...and ammo.

Or they'll find a way to offset the rising price by 3D printing their own guns.

The same thing was tried in socialist Europe, where the "rulers" decided that the peons did not "need"
automobiles, so they raised the price of gas to around eight bucks with onerous taxes.
Did not work, of course, and won't work here with guns

I think it is a better design and better material, plus a better printer.

Yeah, amazing stuff going on.
