And either do I. I could retype what has been said at this link but why bother. Why remake that which is unbroken? If you claim to be an Atheist let me show you why youre a liar.

www.livingwaters.com...

Its a 2 minute read.

Why couldn't the Universe be a naturally occuring thing?

It is our 'designs' on it that have us objecting to what we percieve of as tragedy.

If you can simply make peace with your own life and death, it releases you from so much anxiety about things overwhich you have little control.

Life is short, make the most of it.

The link you give speaks of uncertainty and absolute statements. The irony of those statements is that this same uncertainty can be used in reverse. Until you know with certainty all that is, you cannot say there is a God.

Theories of quantum physics teach that in order to make an absolute statement when observational uncertainty is involved, one must elimininate the duality of the statement. Thus, without certainty, it is not accurate to say something is in one state instead of another state.

The cat is both dead and alive.

God both exists and does not.

The reality of these statements depend on observation. This observation is a collection of evidence. When a level of evidence surpasses a "burden of proof" one will believe a thing to be true. If it does not, they will not. This is how we come to believe or disbelieve everything.

People who say "God does not exist" are not liars, they are simply not scientific in regards to observation and uncertainty.

People who claim to be atheists are not liars. They simply have not satisfied their burden of proof for the existance of God.

If god created everything and is all knowing then is it not logical to conclude that god does believe in atheists because he/she/it in fact created them and was aware of how time would play out?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but athiest's can exist. As a matter of fact, chapter one (your link) supports this, as well as supports the fact that you cannot have total faith in God.

All those random examples of where people need to use faith.... proving that there is no athiest, are referring to non-religious events and obstacles. That reason alone is enough to debunk what was written, but lets skip it.

You need faith to go up that elevator or ride in that taxi right? Just as the chapter stated. Might I propose that an athiest would use science and math that he knows just from day to day life, hearsay, and observed experience to make a calculated decision that...chances are he/she will make it up the elevator, or to the end of the taxi ride. While knowing deep down that there is a small chance he/she won't? That is why some people fear elevators, or driving in cars. Because they simply do not have the ability to suppress those thoughts as some others do. You see, people will get on the elevator without thinking about the consequences that may occur because they are conditioned to do so out of necessity and repetition.

You can say that you believe in God 100%. Do you? Lets take a close look at that using the same thought process that was given in that link. A boy is riding a bike. he has just built a big jump in his back yard. he approaches it and does a practice run. After all, there is a ditch on the other side of the jump he has to clear, or maybe some rocks, or concrete. After scoping the scene out he goes back and makes his final approach. he hits the jump. The jump collapses and he goes head on into the ditch. He was so worried about whether or not the jump had the right angle and that he had enough speed that he over looked the jump itself.

Now, this boy surely was someone cautious about this whole thing. A little nervous undoubtedly. But he wouldnt have attempted the jump unless he was confident he would be ok. He had full faith he would make it. But yet he made the practice run. Why? Because deep down he knew that he might not make it to the other side. And truth is, that just because you have that level of faith, doesnt mean you will make it as that boy learned.

Whether you will admit it or not, there is always a chance that there is no God nomatter how much faith you have. Just as there is a chance that the taxi might not make it, or the elevator might fall. That is what that story proved, and nothing else.

Your theory here doesn't hold up, and neither does the two minute read. Being atheist merely means a person lacks believe in the existence of any gods. Clearly, the writer of that book, and you, don't know what an atheist is. Try going to the following website to find out what it's really all about:
