NASA's Cassini spacecraft makes the last flyby of Saturn's moon Rhea

On March 9th, Cassini made the last flyby of Saturn's moon Rhea. Many closeup images were taken, which you can find at saturn.jpl.nasa.gov...

I do so enjoy seeing what's off planet since I won't ever be able to to see these wonders in person.
It's like a mini vacation for me !

Rhea always looked like a golf ball to me.

More so than any other moon. So many small craters that it looks dimpled like one.

Thank you. And maybe it's because Rhea is made mostly of ice (~75%). Rhea is whiter than snow. At higher zoom levels, its surface is covered with countless ice cliffs created by tectonic fracturing. It would make a stunning sight if we could be there on the surface.
