On September 18, 2012, the North Korean government became the first to use "Gangnam Style" for political activism when it uploaded a parody with the title "I'm Yushin style!" onto the government website Uriminzokkiri.[234] The parody mocks the South Korean ruling conservative party presidential-elect Park Geun-hye. It shows a Photoshopped image of the presidential candidate performing the dance moves of "Gangnam Style" and labels her as a devoted admirer of the Yushin system of autocratic rule set up by her father, Park Chung-hee.[235][236] A few weeks later, "草泥马 style" (literally, "Grass Mud Horse Style"),[note 3][237] was uploaded onto YouTube and other Chinese websites by the political activist and dissident Ai Weiwei. In his parody, Ai Weiwei dances "Gangnam Style" with a pair of handcuffs as a symbol of his arrest by Chinese authorities in 2011. According to the Associated Press, government authorities had removed the video from almost all Chinese websites the next day.[237]

I rarely log in to ATS, but this was just too good.

Firstly to the OP. Gangnam is a district in SOUTH KOREA; Who the USA is an Ally to, so you are deeply misinformed.

To the video. The funniest thing i've seen in ages.

It goes to show how dumbed down the average American youth are; inherited from their dumbed down hate filled parents now doubt.

"We are in a civil war with North Korea", he says.

1. There's nothing civil about war.
2. Wrong definition of what a civil war is.

He'll be the perfect recruit for the U.S Army in a few years, he's been propagated and everything.

Gangam styles not about police brutality unless some how being rich and riding a polo pony now comes with a black uniform and a silver badge, if you are looking for something darker with links to vampires and other nasty things that haunt the night perhaps this one will entertain

From what I understand the Original North Korean Video was not about chicks and was about war with the US.

but we will find out more.

there are about 6 gangnam videos that were made and there may be more.

gangnam province may be in the south but that is not what gangnam is about. They are a people group too that are located in the North.
