All I could say when I read the article was WTF!!!!!

The teacher, whose identity has not been published, brought the blood into her classroom and poured it onto a plate for her students to examine, Reuters reports. The children, aged between three and six, touched the blood with their fingers and then asked the teacher how they could get it off, the school's principal Lise Soemme Andersen said on Friday (local time). "So she put her finger in her mouth and the children followed suit," Ms Soemme Andersen said.

How could someone like this ever be allowed to supervise children?
Can you imagine your child coming home and telling you they sucked their teachers blood of their fingers?
She has been tested for HIV and Hep but the results arent back yet.

The article doesnt say for what purpose she brought in the blood, these were kindergarteners so I cant see it being a science class.

Im not a big believer in demons and satanic cults and the like but an explanation along those lines is all I can up with as to why she did this.

Weird and messed up stuff whichever way you look at it

........... As a parent of kinder age children....... I don't even know what to say. One thing I'm fairly sure this is NOT the normal. Do we really need people like this in the world? If this is true, disgusting , strange and just weird.

I feel she should be locked away for the rest of her natural life. This person has willing forfeited their right to be part of society. Don't be inhumane to her as she was to the children, just let her carry out her days in total isolation left with only her thoughts.

At first blush it seems a bit strange. But (assuming no communicable diseases) it's not harmful. It's just a little blood. It's not like she expected them to drink it, for crying out loud. Kids have gotten a little blood on them and licked it off since time immemorial. For Pete's sake, what a trivial thing to turn a bunch of reasonable people into a bloodthirsty(!) mob....

Are you being serious or was it just a build up so you could use the bloodthirsty mob line?

If being serious, WTF??
Even if she has something the chance of infection is small but still, how would you feel if that was your child?
Kids have been licking blood off themselves, hell even ill suck on my finger if I cut myself or the cat scratches me but its your own blood, not someone elses.
She did expect them to (if not drink it) ingest it, even to just let them dip their fingers in is highly irresponsible.

Thank GOD she's GONE. The only thing I could think of is witchcraft or some kind of European or Pagan cult. That's where that stuff comes from.

Jail? If this act isn't 100% proof that she's crazy, then I don't know what crazy is. She should be locked away in an institution.

People go to jail for that kind of thing...

well the ones that deliberately infect others...and it takes 6 months of repeat tests for the all clear.

very serious thing she had done and I hope that all the kids have been tested?

Well I hope to goodness they are testing this woman for far more than just HIV! There are way more infections that can be transmitted via blood than just that that can also life threatening or even lifelong maladies such as hepatitis, herpes, MRSA, the list goes on and on.

Sometimes I think it is so sad that all you have to do to get a job as a teacher is produce a piece of paper that says you have completed the required courses. There should be some kind of common sense testing that is required before hiring!
