The brain stem controls all automatic body functions....there fore they can eat etc.

The brain stem controls the heart and breathing.

But according to our current medical definitions you would be brain dead.

Function: The brainstem controls several important functions of the body including:
Alertness
Arousal
Breathing
Blood Pressure
Digestion
Heart Rate
Other Autonomic Functions Relays Information Between the Peripheral Nerves and Spinal Cord to the Upper Parts of the Brain

So what if there was a pathogen that could control and create signals to send to the brain stem to tell the body to walk etc? I like the name Frankenstein pathogen.....think ill get a trade mark.

We do have technology today that tells nerves to function in people that have brain damage and spinal injuries.

Maybe someday a nano virus, combining a pathogen and nanotechnology will be created.

Unending craziness. The whole zombie thing got its start with "The Night of the Living Dead". Radiation from a returned satellite reanimates motor skills to corpses who arise from the grave seeking to devour living human flesh.

It is awesomely gruesome, gnarly plot for its day and wowed everyone so much it has gone from 'b' rated hit to cult classic to genre to all ya' all think its real in some form or other. Watching too many TV shows and video games.

Plot Summary

You will understand... you will awaken at the end of this movie free from the desire to believe in (any) Zombie Pocky - clips...

Then there is the part of pure fiction.
You know,made up.

It's fun to fantasize about some of it,like you remember I made a zombie out of pvc for my son to shoot with his cross bow.
His name was BOB.

I think it really comes down to,it's better to think they are zombies then real people trying to survive and get you or your supplies.
Kind of like desensitizing you to the fact that it is a real human being.
It is TPTB plan.

I was under the impression they ate people out of necessity for regeneration. So as long as they can feed on 'brains', their body is sustained.

I was at one time,but reading some of the stuff from world war z just nixed it all.
We were going to get a houseboat,because we thought we would be safe from the zombies until this latest revelation.
Zombies can walk underwater.

What about the Obama zombies?

Crying, chanting, singing etc.

If you are talking about Hollywood fan service Zombie well anything can happen and it depends on the movie.

If you are talking about drug induced/ hypnotized (Haitian Creole/ South African)) Zombie then they can be taken care of like any other person.



These are the ones that are really dangerous. They rise from their graves every 4 years and try to make us all zombies.

Over the top. I saw a few people in there, not "masses". Remember Zombie hoards have to be "hoards" moving in unison to a single purpose, void of all reason and logic, destroying everything in their path.

There are a lot of real world candidates for that description, didn't see many in that video. Maybe at sports venues? Like the fans? Or the military? Like armies and cop fraternities, etc. Thats more to my understanding of Zombies, barring the Hollywood version of course.

We already have the zombie apocalypse going on here and now today - they aren't the fleshing eating type but they will surely lead to our doom.
