When you work with these people you really think about the victims. A lot.

The kids werent victims, the parents are.

And to go in further explanations, the kids are victims aswell, victims of CPS, victims of a completely paranoid system, and victims of a systematic " no naked kids" ideology.

In nudist culture being naked is normal and wearing clothes is abnormal.

Nudism does not equate to sexuality, it equates to no clothes.

After reading this entire thread, it is clear that some of you have sexual hangups on a grand scales, and some of you are just plain ignorant.

Pretty sad lot.

Studies reveal that children are 11 times more likely to be abused in state care than they are in their own homes, and 7 times more likely to die as a result of abuse in the foster care system.

John Walsh

Ciara Jobes is one of those cases. Last year, she was found dead in the home of her foster mother; she was emaciated and had been badly beaten.

We are doing a real great job of protecting our children aren't we?

Taking children from loving families is very traumatic, I don't care what anyone says.
I am sure these children were drilled and questioned about things they couldn't comprehend. Then they were subjected to exams to look for evidence of sexual abuse, which again is very traumatic.
Then you put them in with foster parents who may or may not have been abusive, but if you look at the stats, is a possibility, along with other foster children who most likely had issues. Many children in foster care have serious issues and will abuse younger children. That means these kids were exposed to situations that they never would have been in their own home.

You're all missing the point. This was one case in thousands.

These people are chameleons. They're your neighbor, your brother, your dad. They're highly manipulative and slick and they're very skilled at hiding. Some of them escape only to be nabbed later.

This is one case. Something about those pictures bothered someone enough to report it. Something bothered the police and the DA because they kicked it up the chain. Then there's the judge, one guy in a large group of people who thinks they're not suspect.

The next argument will be that that's why he's a judge and not working at WM. He "smarter" than the guy/gal developing the film.

Slippery slope. So many judgments to consider. All of it rests on the fallible human being.

It's all a matter of opinion, isn't it? I suppose that's why so many people are relying on God. Because in the here and now we can't even count on ourselves to do the right thing.

Some people will be bothered by anything, no matter how innocent it is. Sometimes people are looking for something so they will find it even when it isn't there because they want to see it. Witch trials come to mind.

People go a bit overboard sometimes in the name of protecting the kids, and common sense goes out the window.
This is clearly one of those times.

Thanks for an interesting post.

While I agree that something about those pictures bothered the Walmart employee enough to report it, the problem with the police, DAs and Child Protection Agency personnel is that they deal with guilty people every day. Their default modus operandi is that someone is guilty until proven innocent.

In other words, the Walmart employee, in his wisdom, decided that the parents were pedophiles and set the whole ball rolling. Luckily, the judge brought the rolling snowball to a halt and reigned in the over eager Child Protection Agency. People who deal with pedophiles every day see them everywhere.

For decades I listened to these people discussing their crimes. I've learned a few things about them. There are more of these types out there than you realize.

I don't doubt that there are a lot of pedophiles out there. I do however feel that if you deal with pedophiles every day, you tend to see them where they don't exist.

You, after all, were arguing why do parents need to take pictures of their kids without clothes on?

You still haven't answered the question. Why? Aren't pictures with their clothes on good enough?

Taking pictures of your kids without clothes on doesn't make a parent a pedophile or strange. To ask why pictures of kids with their clothes on isn't good enough is somewhat strange.

With all due repect your part of the problem. You need to speak for yourself and not drag everyone into your fantasy world in generalisations.

If the truth be known it was you who was the walmart employee. Yes your agenda is clear.

Because I don't understand why it's necessary. Is dignity dead?

Yes it is very shocking that probably 9 out of 10 parents like to take pictures of their children.
Protip: you shouldn't use big words like "crimes" in a thread where the discussion is about a couple who were innocent and wrongly accused.

I don't recall using that word. If I did it wasn't in reference to the parents.

The answer is obviously "no". Don't be juvenile. I asked my questions because I didn't know the answers.

Well exactly why you shouldn't bring that up. Since it's offtopic considering these people were actually innocent.
