Queen stret mall in queensland australia has been evacuated because of a man with a gun
but that cant be right because guns are banned in Australia right?

This is still developing It doesnt say anything about shots fired yet but people were screaming run there is a man with a gun..

Police have evacuated the entire Queen Street Mall amid reports of a gunman in the shopping precinct.

Stores, including the Myer Centre, have been placed in lockdown and the surrounding streets have been closed to traffic.

Staff from the Brisbane City Council Visitor Information Centre located in the middle of the mall are locked inside their small office.

Myer employees ran crying through the centre screaming "run, there is a man with a gun
