I'd say it was an accident. He was passing, lost control of his car, then regained control.

I agree, he was prob speeding on apparently a slick road and somehow the AWD kept him from going completely loosing it. Skill or luck? I would need to meet the driver, but a save is a save! Sometimes when that adrenaline kicks in people can do amazing things. I'd like to respect him because it's a subie and not a honda, but prob just another wreck-lace ricer.

I do think It was unintentional though.....Good job regaining control by the driver though. AWD Subarus are fun in the snow, or on gravel.

I'd really LIKE to think it was intentional. That would be such a cool stunt to pull on icy days! But no, I'm afraid it's just the usual: Some dimwit crawling along at 20--thinking they're driving "extra" safe--when in fact they're just a moving safety hazard. So the guy goes to pass, and BINGO....

The drivers soft little (beep beep) of the horn is the best bit Almost like it happens all the time and he's thinking. Not this again
