I'm not sure if i have ever posted in the rant section, i'm usually mellow and pretty "meh" with most things that annoy people, but today i am feeling like my years are making me less tolerant, and this one thing gets to me more than anything on the forum.

Writing thread titles in caps, whether breaking news or not, followed be a shed load of exclamation marks, in my opinion, verges on hysterical attention seeking. Remember that guy who was freaking on YouTube over Brittney Spears? That's what i see when i see caps and !!!!!!!.

Maybe it's worse because this is a conspiracy forum. We get enough bad press as it is, when it looks like people are being hysterical over things that usually aren't worth worrying about, it just adds to the chicken little image.

I know this probably sounds pretty petty to some. To me, it is the kind of thing you expect from young teenagers screaming about Justin Bieber on Facebook every time he changes his hairstyle.

Thank you for allowing me the space to rant about this, it saved me going on a killing spree.

Some colours can be good in a post, but not when they're just used for the sake of it.

be glad the other tags are not functional any more, marqee and so on.. and that no one really knew about them when they were...

Typically, when we see these, we edit them. In this thread, it makes sense, so no biggie. Can't speak for others though, so your title may get edited.
