Nice to hear others are having fun also.

Last scammers that I dealt with is on the geo engineering forum here on ats. There is a few of them here but I think easily delt with.

Back to you Q, I have found the best of them get testy after being stuffed around long enough, I love the money has been sent line, gets them all excited.

Have fun but be careful, there is always a degree of danger.

What???

theres scammers here on ATS?
Are you sure you mean scammers and not trolls?

Do you actually mean there are people on this forum trying to get money out of other members?

It's true. Despicable behavior. Send me $100 via western union and I will protect you from them

I feel sorry for all the naive people who fall for this but. A fool and his money are soon parted.

I get those by phone normally, I get a caller saying I have won an all inclusive trip to disney land, cuba, mexico whatever, They always hang up on me when I ask them how I could possibly win a contest I never participated in?

Great idea though, Next time, I will play dumb and keep them on the line for as long as possible! This could be funny!

I will watch the videos later, cant wait!

Yeah have some fun LOL

Waste as much of their time as possible, make them call you back as much as possible preferably on a mobile so it wastes their money and make as many ridiculous demands as you can think of, say you want your sick children to be escorted all day by mickey mouse personally (of course you would be willing to pay in advance for it) or you want exclusive tickets and instant access to all rides etc etc.

The more time they spend on you the less they spend on someone who may actually fall for it.

When it comes time to pay stuff them around for as long as possible, they will insist on Western Union but after you have a few days worth of issues with that mode of transfer firmly tell them you want to do a direct bank deposit. If you have been believable enough they will give you one and then you can hand it over to the police.

Even if the guy gets arrested and you take down a dodgy call centre its only a drop in the ocean but enough people giving enough drops can make a huge difference.

have a blast my friend

I had some fun with one a few years back. I "needed" a $65,000 "anti-terrorist certificate" so he could transfer $25 million into my account. I played with him for a few weeks and gave him a play by play of my "trips to the bank" to borrow the money. I had a blast until I had some more important things that I had to take care of. There is a site, 419eaters that tells stories of what people have done and some have been real elaborate and funny as heck.

I just stumbled on this thread and I think I may have a new hobby!

These guys are scum, scamming that poor woman out of her life savings like that! Do they have no souls? Granted, that woman was rather naive to fall for it, but still...

I had one that i fed a line that i had been a mercenary in his country during its last civil war and i had hid some gold bars and had the GPS reading of where the gold bars were.
en.wikipedia.org...

I wanted to trade the gold bars for the fees for him to transfer my 5 million dollars

Needless to say that the GPS reading were right in front of the largest police barracks in the capital city of his country

I always wondered if he tried to dig up the gold bars because i never heard from him again.

He must have ripped me off.

Or better yet got caught digging a big hole in front of the police barracks.
