I was going to say that, but you beat me to it. Building on yours, I would like a holodeck.

Yes, a holodeck. The holodeck uses replicator and transporter technology anway, so after magma gets the replicator -- I can have my holodeck (assuming someone else picked transporter tech).

I know way to much about Star Trek.

ETA:

Why the hell don't we have programs that can design and build other programs? I should be able to tell a computer the parameters are for the software I want, and it should be able to code it and hand it back to me.

Is that to much to ask for?!

Sustaining a healthy youthful state for people should be the highest priority imo.

I was semi-joking with the lightsabres I do need one however ^_^ Druscilla's list is how I actually feel.

I disagree with one thing you said.

There is no such thing as knowing too much about Star Trek.

I would love to have the glasses/scope needed to show the people who claim they can tell a contrail from a "chemtrail" by just looking, that they are just looking at contrails.
So many times now they seem to believe they have spectrometers for eyes.

Human 2.0

Technological singularity and beyond.

I believe Druscilla meant it to mean post-human in that sense. So all the unforeseen advancements of 'singularity and beyond'.

I'm waiting for something that can record dreams

Exposing the window to the subconscious in waking life.....

That would be incredible but I wouldn't be surprised if that destroyed marriages and maybe even civilization!!

It's like a diary on steroids. Definitely wouldn't want it auto-uploading to your Dreamtube account!

a device that can regrow teeth .

tyres that can sense ice or snow on the road and extrude studs or spikes when needed .

wall and ceiling paint that lights up the room when connected to electricity .

computers that we can talk to in plain English no need for a key board .

and what about a new and more efficient wind screen wipers .
