I had come across that article in my search, but what I saw it was talking about the mayor and other officials being removed or escorted by guys in tactical gear and black helicopters in the area Live at the current moment.

On a second note the guys down at the TNNG armory havent heard anything like what is stated above but they have all their lots FULL of vehicles being staged as they put it. In the last 7 to 8 years ive been here NEVER has this many vehicles been there. Im wondering how much and which one a 2 1/2 truck or a HMMWV. Surplus auction?

Thanks for that, I get pi$$ed when people assume we are just a bunch of yokels that live as if we are in the 3rd world here in the Southern states. Roads are no different in Kentucky or Tennessee than any where else. Russians in the South It would start all kinds of problems with the locals and we`d hear alot more about it than just rumors. Not saying dirt and gravel roads dont exist here, but not all are. Only one I know of is CopperHead Rd. and you only go there when invited.

I think someone somewhere wants to start something.

I dont think it is B4itsnews.

the story may be more complicated than we all know.

Or ,maybe its all made up, you know for attention.

I hope you don't think I was implying anything about Kentucky by asking about concrete roads (my road was gravel up until last year). I know that in Tennessee concrete is rare for road ways, one major except being Chattanooga (I75). TN tends to not want to spend the money for concrete over asphalt. But I didn't know if Kentucky was the same, that's why I asked and that is what spurred the trolley response.


Looking on Google maps I did find a short stretch of road in that area that is concrete. But the landscape does not match the photo. If you are familiar with that area, do you know if concrete is commonly used? I'm just trying to verify the photo was taken in Kentucky.

"It" works quite simply. If someone is making an extraordinary claim such as the one in the OP, it is up to that person to provide the evidence to support that claim.

I could tell you that an alien aircraft just landed in my front yard, and I had an enlightening conversation with E.T. You not being able to prove that I am lying does not add any credence to my story. The burden of proof is on me to legitimize the claims, not on others to prove a negative.

Those Russians are at Fort Carson, CO, not KY or TN. Going by the uniforms, they're probably airborne troopers. Might be SpetzNasties, since Ft. Carson is home to one of the SFG's (10th I think), but my first guess would be regular airborne. They're there for some sort of "Joint Training Exercise", but it strikes me as odd that all of the training seems to be one-way. For example, the Russians are training on M4's, but the 'Mercans aren't training on AK-74's. Then again, if you can operate one AK, you can operate 'em all.

I have some information that may be very interesting to this thread.

Just today, I checked out this thread before heading on a roadtrip with a good friend of mine for kicks. This left alot of time for conversation.

We were remarking that the number of Russians in the area has exploded the past few years. I thought to mention of the claims of Russians in government clothing as noted in the OP. This friend of mine isn't into the conspiracy stuff that we all are, but then he looks over at me after I commented and told me this, which he found to be very unusual, as any of us who would see this would.

Last week, on a lunch break from work, he was going back to his car in a rather sparsely used parking lot. He noted that there were 3 black, extended vans(you know the type, used for crews of people, seats 15 or so) with US government plates. Outside of these vans, were, his estimate, 16-18 men in black uniforms, think officer uniforms, one large group and a few scattered, and as he walked by he noted that they were talking with Russian accents, but spoke English well. He didn't recall any insignia. He thought it very strange that an entire group of Russians in uniforms with 3 vans with USG plates to be very odd, and i'm sure you all will agree.

This is in Sacramento county.

Sorry but that article is full of fail and misinformation.

I serve in a State Guard unit. Georgia State Defense Force. I've served for over 4 years. Were this true, GSDF would have heard about it. This story hasn't even made a single mention on the State Guard forums I am a member of. TNSG (Tennessee State Guard) is barely 500 strong and unarmed. Intercepting shipments of military vehicles is NOT part of their MET-L (Mission Essential Task List). It's not part of GSDF MET-L either.

An incident like this would have received national news coverage as well as local coverage. Yes the media is controlled and censored but this would not have been covered up, not when the state controlled media has the chance to blast a rebellious red state for such a blatant act of defiance, and at the same time use the opportunity to portray TNSG as some redneck anti-government (anti-Obama) militia.

Also, the writer of the article states that 14 governors created State Guards LAST YEAR. Not true. State Guards have been authorized by Federal Law (Title 32) since the 1930's and are not part of the National Guard, though the National Guard bureau has some oversight. TNSG has a long history dating back to before WWII and was even mobilized for the Battle of Athens but did not deploy.

Listen, it's a nice thought that a governor would take a stand against a tyrannical Federal government in such a way. But we're not at that point as a nation yet and I hope to God we never get that bad off. All articles like this do is form a negative opinion of State Defense Forces in the minds of people who up to now probably never even heard of them.

I have some issues with his logic...

I can go 15 miles east of Springfield and find a large Russian community. However, they are not military members. Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio does the same thing, as well as Silver Dollar City in Branson MO. They hire a large number of foreign workers... Does this mean those countries are gearing up for some internal US invasion? I doubt it...

As for Military equipment / training - We work with a LOT of countries in this area, and they use our bases for joint training. US forces have done this in other countries, like Canada, Europe, Russia etc..

We have reached a point in world affairs where there is no real black or white lines anymore. While the US and Russia disagree on a lot of areas, and from the media reports our relations suck, Russia still allows the US to ship military equipment through their territory to Afghanistan.

Why? Because Russia has stated Afghanistan is a topic of mutual interest. An unstable Afghanistan is a problem for Russia. The Us and Russia, while at odds over NATO training in the Black Sea, train together in the Pacific with regards to hijacked flights. We have treaties with Russia and Canada in the Alaskan region for civil emergencies.

Instead of trying to fill in the gaps with somewhat educated guesses, why not contact our government representatives and see what info they have?

We seem to have stumbled into the realm where mistrust and paranoia take precedence over asking questions.
