There are 2 aspects to the news item - teh first is china's involvement in a new round of sanctions agaisnt Nth Korea. This has been signalled for
some time now, and is, I think, a welcome sign that even the PRC are getting irritated by this nut-job dictator.
The 2nd is the Nth Korean response to a military exercise south of the border - and that is the snippet I have included above.
A threat to abrogate the armistice means a return to actual shooting war - where either side is "free" to open fire any time it wants without warning.
Of course this happens there every now and then anyway - but openly supporting a state of "hot war" is an unwelcome development.
Will they go through with it?
Only time will tell......
