ATS Thread - How did Chavez Supposedly Get $2 Billion in Personal Wealth?

Oh ... and then there is this .. his cheerleading squad should read the site ...

Human Rights Watch - Venezuela Abuse of Power under Chavez

I can't believe that anyone is cheering for this guy.
2 Billion in oil money stolen from the Venezuelans.
Shuts down free press in Venezuela .. it's GONE.
Those two things alone would have gotten George Bush 43 destroyed on this site.
But no ... Chavez gets a free pass. ODD ... very odd!

I for one am not giving Bush Jr a pass, nor his familia. Bush Jr is 3rd gen Bonesman, and Kerry is llikely just the opposite side of the same Skull and Bones coin. Michael Savage, formerly liberal but now more conservative, says that Bush Jr was a fiscal Socialist and spent a lot of money on social programs. So while Socialists are busy demonizing him for the wars, he actually outspent some of his predecessors for entitlements.
But the more you pile on mandated entitlement programs, like for instance now we have Obamacare, which is as much an entitlement as any other social welfare program, the more the debt piles up and no matter who is POTUS, that money is going to get spent.

The IMF and the World Bank are just an arm of the International Cartel which is seizing more and more power. Check out the Club of Rome which is behind UN Agenda 21 and the Millenium Declaration. Bill Gates is a member and so is Al Gore. Don't be naive about these puppet world leaders who deliberately take opposite stances but are secretly together in the cabal.
Still there are factions, just like mafia territories and they are just as likely to kill each other as kill us.

It is interesting to see leftists try and portray Obama as another Bush because they see him as being more of a right leaning Wall Street puppet, and yet the IMF and the World Bank are part of the same Intl cabal that Obama is supported by.
George Soros is an International Socialist by all accounts, and siphons off money using the Capitalist monetary system to donate to left wing NGOS. He is filthy wealthy and yet leftists defend him always. I just don't understand how people think these scammers are genuinely concerned for the welfare of those they steal money from regularly through their mafia-sharklike operations.
So in the same manner we have leftist Hugo Chavez doing the same stuff Obama is doing, that is nationalizing private industry and yet stealing the public blind.
Obama has tons of Goldman Sachs people in his administration.
The Bush and Rockefeller families financed both Hitler and the Bolsheviks, so how about realizing the banking cartel is responsible for the rise of Communism and Socialism and all leftitst front organizations.
Soros attended Bilderberg meetings so don't think the International Socialists are your buddies.

Ah, here they come. Took you long enough ThirdEye. I was starting to wonder if this thread was going to be free of your propaganda. I guess we can't be so lucky.

You use the word socialist like we'll be embarassed or something, like it's some kind of dirty word we'll be ashamed of. You can call me a socialist until you're blue in the face and I'll wear the label with pride. Every single point you've made has been responded to in the thread prior to this. So I won't waste my time.

Have a great day.

Chavez is part of the UN Agenda 21 Climate Change conspiracy...in other words part of the NWO Totalitarian apparatus

“We are destroying our planet. We need to realise that and we need to act”, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez told the 64th General Assembly of the United Nations in his September 24 speech. “The effects of this climate change are now visible … These are scientific facts. There are … studies by NASA [showing] a 0.8 degree increase in temperature in the last 30 years. The last 2 decades of the 20th century were the hottest in hundreds of years and also the melting of the ice caps continues to increase.”

They quantify these things...and Bush wasn't the wealthiest. One of the most obnoxious, as I might agree...but not richest by any means.

Kennedy actually took that cake with nearly 1 billion is estimated personal wealth once taking office.

I don't want a poor man in Office anyway. Poor people don't work well with rich ones and the President lives in a world of ultimate wealth and privledge among all the world leaders. We don't need Trump or Bloomberg, but we don't need little abner either, IMO.

Perhaps a poor person in office who does not work well with the rich and privileged is precisely what you/we do need.

Getting educated on this makes me wonder if Chavez is going to become even more influential in death than he was in life.

Bravo Hugo Chevez

No, I know you wouldn't be embarrssed, but I do like to put things into perspective. Glad to hear I have such a visual impact on the site.

I don't know what "thread prior to this" is though, so maybe you can point me to it.

But you do prove my point that people supporting International Socialism don't seem to mind his pro Climate Change position supporting Agenda 21.

and yet Chavez told the IMF and the World Bank to eff off and you dance on his grave. You're so afraid of Agenda 21 that you volunteer for NGO's that 'work against it' (by the way I read that as insanity), so afraid of the NWO that you bought every bit of propaganda and serve it (hint oil cartels would be part of that).

We allow the CIA to assassinate people? Then why are you allowing a Socialist Marxist puppet like Obama to be in power and likely even voted him in? Leftists are some of the most hypocritical people ever, and blind to their hypocritical views. You hate such assassinations but Obama thinks he is justified in killing of Americans with drones with no trial, and Obama is on the same side as Chavez. Anyone can see it as an obvious Socialist alliance. You know the whole little book giving incident...

Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez said on Sunday his U.S. counterpart Barack Obama was at best an "ignoramus" for saying the socialist leader exported terrorism and obstructed progress in Latin America. "He goes and accuses me of exporting terrorism: the least I can say is that he's a poor ignoramus; he should read and study a little to understand reality," said Chavez, who heads a group of left-wing Latin American leaders opposed to the U.S. influence in the region.

Hi, I felt compelled to register here in order to reply to this very thread.

Would you guys explain to me why Hugo Chavez is a great leader?

I live in Doral,FL. A suburb in Miami-Dade county. Doral is very Venezuelan based. Many of them moved to Doral back in 2003 and since then, the Venezuelans are the majority.

They all left due to Chavez. They all had to leave and transfer their business here. They despise this man. I have talks with them about him Chavez. I even brought up that gas is 6 cents a gallon in Venezuela. They explained to me that even though the gas of gasoline is low, the cost of a comfortable living is high. A Quiksilver shirt sells for 120 dollars in Venezuelan when the worth of the shirt in The States is merely 12 dollars. Needless to say, Doral was packed with happy Venezuelans celebrating his death and wishing Venezuelans a speedy recovery to what Hugo Chavez has done to it.

I'm just curious to know why Hugo Chavez is a great leader because if its because he's against American ideals then that's not really a fair thing to say. He made millions of families migrate out of their own lands. He corrupted elections all the time and even had tanks in case the Venezuelan people would retaliate. I just don't see that as traits of a great leader.

I am going to assume that you have not noticed how many Americans become ex-patriots? We do so because we can live much better or comfortably in other countries. As far as the American Govt is concerned, I think we all know how corrupt it is. And lastly, in the US, if there was a retaliation against the Govt, do you not think that there are tanks, marines, secret service, FBI and a myriad of other forces to put down any type of rebellion?
Granted, Hugo Chavez was not a saint, but he was a hell of a lot better leader than any we have had in the US in a long time.

Funny how the wealth of a candidate didn't mean much when Millionaire Obama (5-6 Million personal when he took office) or Millionaire Bill Clinton took Office (38 Million..he was worth q measurable % more than Bush). Even Carter came in a millionaire and closer to Obama with 7 million than Clinton's 38.

If you look at my signature though, I spent a good amount of time building data on the Presidents back to Eisenhower.

They were ALL wealthy and Millionaires, many times over. Obama included. Wishing for a poor man to lead a wealthy nation among a wealthy set of world leaders is wishing for disaster.

Of course, since Hugo had 2 BILLION dollars (He had more than any US President and virtually ALL combined) He wasn't poor by any stretch while in office. It's a poor US President I say is a bad idea. Actually... An insane one.

I never said Chavez doesn't compete with other leaders. These guys have such huge egos they would attack each other for power. That is what you know nothing about because it is easier to pretend Obama is something he isn't or that he isnt something that he is. Look at how Obama ans Hillary vied for power in the Democrat Primaries and seemed to hate each other then turned around and acted like lovers in public.

John Kerry and George W pretended to be on opposing teams in the election of 04 and yet both members of Skull and Bones.
That is a clear example of Hegelian Dialectic of which people on this site claim to understand but clearly many don't.
Maybe Chavez had an even bigger ego than BO. Who would have guessed.
