to say that this is a self fulfilling prophecy is dumb, since the government has tried to demonize militias since the last millennium *i can say that* since the nineties , when Timothy McVeigh did what he did '_'

there was a committee that questioned certain militia leaders, and tried gathering sensitive information regarding the militias.

things kinda calmed down since then till recently *3-5 yrs*

You summed it up nicely.

Well, you know they're making excuses for oppression (as always). All we can do is try to remain as nonthreatening and peaceful as we can and try not to fan the flames. I mean, to a certain extent, just talking about conspiracies and such is inviting trouble but just try not to say anything that could be construed as inciting or anything.

five and one half years ago this was predicted.
when it was becoming certain that
Obama would win his first presidency--the
American public began purchasing 1.5 billion
rounds of ammunition per month and never slowed down.

Americans were voting with their pocket books.

Five years later the Government is trying to play
catchup with large ammunition purchases---either to
rat hole the ammo to take it out of circulation and
out of the hands of the American public--or for more sinister
reasons. So of course there will suddenly be an increase in
anti government groups--as the asymptote approaches.

Totally agree.

I knew they where going to inject race into this.

I never watch american television, and I haven't had the opportunity to notice or observe where in the media, there is some sort of injection of "race" into the problem of extremism. Is there any way you could perhaps elaborate a bit on this for those of us that cannot access u.s. television. Either, you yourself or anyone else commenting in this thread. Just how bad has that gotten in the u.s. I wonder? Is it fair to assume that the msm and the gov. are creating a distorted picture of reality where am. patriots are being demonized and portrayed as confederates, who are unwilling to relinquish their weapons, is that what's happening currently in the u.s.?
