Many so-called white Britons have family all over Europe, themselves often only a few generations here. And in case anyone didn't know, there have been plenty of non white Britons here in the uk for far far longer.

The OP title is perhaps misleading however. Most people these days are not terribly concerned about what colour someone is. It is about culture. British culture, values and social mores being replaced by something else, often third world.

People are concerned to see the culture of where they live changing around them from something British to something which is not. I imagine that many, many non white Britons who have lived in the UK for a long time share the same concerns.

First, a disclaimer, because I know I'm not going to explain this very well, and I know what it's going to end up sounding like: I am not anti immigration, nor am I a racist or a bigot of any kind. I tend to lean towards the left, when I agree with anything within the current system at all. Now, onwards...

It is true that this country has seen many waves of settlement and invasion, but what is almost never mentioned is that other than the Romans these settlers have all been 'germanic' in character. From the Angles and the Jutes, through the Saxons, Normans and Viking raids. I'm not suggesting in any way that all these people are a homogeneous mass, but they did share a certain character and cultural elements, which do give the various 'indigenous' British peoples at least some claim to a shared heritage and culture. Just because we are told we're mongrels doesn't make it so.

What I am against is mass immigration of largely unskilled people when unemployment is so high. They might be doing jobs that British people don't want to do, but as a whole we need to suck it up and take more responsibility for ourselves. If there's work available we should be doing it. If nothing else it might lessen the scapegoating of people who genuinely need benefits to survive...

I read somewhere recently that it's not only white British who are moving out of the inner cities, especially London - apparently many black British who emmigrated here two or three generations ago are also leaving.
Many of these families are fully integrated into the UK and have helped it's society grow and develop.

What isn't broadcast in MSM is that many of these people feel threatened by the recent influx of immigrants from Eastern Africa who they feel lack any sort of work ethic, are unwilling to intigrate, are violent and offer nothing positive to the UK.

I know one or two people who share this sentiment.

London has always been a bit of a melting pot and there's been a constant fluidity to it's demographic profile - many Londoner's moved into the suburbs and then towns like Woking during the 50's and 60's.

Personally I despise the place - although I love Camden Town.

You make a very good point. The Angles, Saxons and Viking invaders who choose to settle were European in character and genetics.

While on the one hand, over the last 6,500 years Wales and Cornwall have received about 20% immigrant genetics, Scotland 30% & eastern and southern England about a 1/3, that immigrant population was European in origin and did share many genetic and cultural similarities.

On the other hand, what we are seeing today is unprecedented in both its scale and its nature.

Of course most immigrants are law abiding. Anecdotal evidence does suggest however that some immigrant communities are more prone to crime than others.

It could be observed that political correctness has served to largely silence opposition to mass immigration. There does also seem to be an unholy alliance between the left and big business on immigration.

Mass immigration is a win win for the left and big business. The left gain voters who become clients of the state while big business get cheap labour.

There's many Brits that have moved to Spain and other safer cheaper places in Europe that have more freedom.

I honestly believe that England along with the US are in bed together on this hostile take over of each country, it seems they must show the rest of the world the way to the new world order, by overpopulating its country with illegals, running out the majority then closing the noose....its so crystal clear

I am gonna jump in and say that I had family that lived in London and also family that lived in Birmingham and as a child have many happy memories in both cities but as the years progressed i noticed a change in both cities from running around as a kid in the many parks of both to being told I'm not to go out the garden and when I was old enough to wonder the streets myself felt uncomfortable in doing so because of large groups of asians/africans who have taken these cities over to the point where our own indigenous race feels pushed out of them I live on on the south coast and have done all my life but my family who originally are from these cities have all moved south because of the fear to wonder the streets the feelings of resentment and frustration that we are being made to feel like this and because the goverment allows it to happen but it will get to the point where people will say enough is enough and take matters into there own hands I for one am sick of reading about gangs of pedophile Asians gang raping white girls and using them for prostituiton and trying to impose shira law in areas of our cities would they like us to open a Christian church next to a mosque? No it wouldn't be aloud to happen there would be a up roar roll on the day this country finally wakes up and drives this menace from OUR country your in it live by OUR laws or leave!!!

There seems to be a general assumption here that the UK economy will stay relatively very strong until at least 2066. Why does everyone think that? I can't see that it will.

To be fair, British Muslims as a group do tend to be much more militant than Polish Christians as a group so your underlying assumption that Polish Christians will in some way pacify radical Muslims is somewhat questionable.

After all, how many Polish Christians have demanded the death or prosecution of someone who has insulted Christianity?
