Gov't: Budget cuts already causing airport delays

Oh here we go, fear mongering brought forth by Big Sis, now she's saying we're having airport delays.. at airports that normally have delays..

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano says U.S. airports, including Los Angeles International and O'Hare International in Chicago, are already experiencing delays as a result of automatic federal spending cuts.

Both of those big-city airports routinely suffer delays.

Napolitano said Monday that delays will become worse. The Transportation Security Administration and Customs and Border Protection agencies, which are part of the Homeland Security Department, are sending furlough notices and have cut overtime for employees.

Napolitano said she expects a cascading effect during the week, with wait times expected to double in worst cases.

Here we have Big Sis screaming "FIRE"! at the first chance she got. I'm sure they will find a way to bolster TSA after this little sequestration bit. I'm sure they will come up with some ridiculous story such as the Easter Bunny was helping the North Koreans smuggle a suitcase nuke in NYC. these people... geez.
