Many wonder why do I have to keep getting the same type of guy/girl, or why do I keep having bad luck over and over again. The simple answer, is that you have not learned something that you should have during the times before, so you must go through it over and over again until you have understood.

The longer answer is a bit complex.

If you take a step back and take a look at someone, and it seems they can go through many relationships, go through many jobs, and seem generally care free in life. But, that is superficial. Internally, it is a war going on inside with self, because they seem like they just cannot find what fulfills them in life.

Father knows best, he will not give you that fulfillment if you are not ready for it. So, you must go through many situations so that you may learn from it.

For example, you keeping thinking to yourself, when will I find my soul mate, or the one whom is meant for me. Again, Father knows best. So, he will not send you said person, and you cause the relationship to faulter, because of some insecurity or infidelity. He will therefore put many in your path that you will have to learn from, these are considered temporaries. As the saying goes, some are in your life for a season, for a reason, that statement holds very much weight. The two he has brought together will both learn from each other, and use what has been learned into the relationship with their soul mate.

Another example, is when you have a good job, and you have the resources to help and assist others in need. One day comes along and your sister comes to you and asks you for $300 because she is short on her rent. But, you tell her no you do not have it, but you do indeed have it, but you have not intentions of giving it to her. (Granted, you may have that sister that borrows money all of the time, but this is not that type of example).
This becomes a pattern and Father gives the order so that you will lose said job. Now, you will go through a learning process of becoming humble and have to depend on others, so that you may go through what others have to go through and that is the struggle.

This is just small examples of many that Father employs to get others to learn and understand what is needed for them to move forward.

These are examples on a micro scale. On a major scale like overall attitude and self, if you do not learn during this cycle, you will have to come back again and learn what is needed.

Father does testing so that you may understand for self, not for himself, as he already knows.

If you are wondering why have you not received what is needed, take a step back and review the past and see what you could have done differently, the answer will come to you. But, when it does, Father will test to make sure you fully understand, internally (spirit), and on the surface (human mind).

I really think that this type of logic is flawed. The reason why you get put into circumstances that have already happened has to do with circumstance and environment. For example, maybe I am finding the same type of horrible relationship to be in because I live in a certain area in which people, woman, have all grown up in a fairly similar fashion. But me ending up with them would be my fault? My inability to learn and move past a set of circumstances?

I say that this is flawed, not because I don't believe in God, but because I don't think God would be so primitive. Sometimes people cannot escape circumstance or environment for a very long time, but is that a fault? Is it torture from God that they cannot escape a place merely to find better relationships? Something doesn't add up here.

I don't know about that. I have seen so many amazingly wonderful people go through so much crap in their life that it pratically breaks their spirit, their will to live. They didn't deserve such things to happen. What is anyone to learn from feeling so depressed and hopeless?

Interesting I didn't realize god is/was a socialist.

When one is outside of the body and free from the emotional toll that said emotions take on a person, many ask to experience these things before they are sent here. Many have a lot of choices in how their lives take place before they come, during, and after.

That is one reason of many. For an individual answer, that would have to come from Father, or, the person, but asked from both sides, the human side, and the spirit.

It is an example.

It would be best if all were self-sufficient.

I appreciate the edit, for the expanded version.

There is always a choice, even with Father out of the picture, you can always escape a situation, unless it is confinement by another.

I hope you're right.

Because some days I wonder if he's just an ass.

Many have thought does he do this on purpose and sit back and laugh at us.

But, it is not the case.

Here's my example: I am in college. To escape the place of prestige that I am at would be to destroy nearly everything I have worked for. The college I belong to is only 25% female. Half of that number know not how to show emotions, and the other half are taken. So yeah I keep ending up near the same type of girls, what kind of lesson is that?

Is Father trying to teach me to be gay perhaps?

Many lessons.
- Learn how to continue by overcoming distractions.
- Learn how to speak up to said female, if there is interest. (If no one responds, do not give up, he will need to see that when the time comes for the right one, you will not give up or shy back.)
- Learn how to stay focused.

These are just examples of many. For details, that discussion will need to be had with him.

I have a little insight to add, if people can accept it. It's a story from the book of John, the start of chapter 9...

As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?"

"Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him."

This heavily hints at reincarnation. Did Jesus say "You silly disciples, how could he sin before he was born??" No. The disciples already believed in reincarnation, so Jesus had obviously taught it to them at some point. And they knew that sins from a past life could get you punished in the next life. Similarly, things you failed to learn in a past life could get taught to you, the hard way, in your current life. You may end up in the same types of situation over and over if you keep reacting to them in the same way. Until you learn.

Of course, that passage also means parents who sin can see their children suffer for their sin. Scary... but any child can be a reincarnated someone else. Or they could be on their first lifetime. I guess that explains the popularity of hip-hop.

i can see what your saying but at the same time i wonder. i live in a college town of sorts, but every time i find a girl i like and there is a mutual attraction going on she is always a local. i wonder why this is. when i chose to talk to a girl, i know nothing about her, its a 65/45 chance she is a local/college girl(notice i fudged the numbers a bit, in order to express the randomness in this town) but every time i do have a connection they are always locals. ive noticed this over the years and have told myself no more locals only new bloods, yet to this day the only non local ive came across was from my hometown. point is ive learned from my mistakes but no matter if i actively try to go a different route the result is always the same. Life is funny.

That everything includes teaching. He knows what you need by way of teaching you. Many cannot just be told what to do, they have to learn what to do.

Let me just say from personal experience, your best bet in finding a soul mate will happen after college is over and you're out in the working world experiencing life and people from a different standpoint.

The lesson to be learned here is to wait until you're in a different environment, but that's not to say that you haven't learned anything from it that might help you in the future (ie; being able to recognize those who aren't capable of showing emotions).

I held out a long time to find my soul mate, but once you meet someone that you know you're capable of spending the rest of your life with, it's all worth it.

Sometimes it all just boils down to the right timing appointed by God.

At my age, I'm grateful that I never ended up with the two men I almost married in my twenties. They would never have been able to make me happy in my forties. Your "taste" in people will change as you mature too.
