What are some good alternative music artists such as Tycho, Empire of The Sun, Justice, Pnau, Harwell, etc. I'm looking mostly for some techno/dubstep/softstep mixed with rap put together kind of genre. Anybody mind introducing me to some artists please?

Wow. Has the term "alternative" shifted that much??? I opened this thinking it was going to be about REM, Pearl Jam, Dinosaur Jr, etc.

Those I know about... the dubstep - not so much.

It's like a mix of techno, dumbstep and rap lol...it actually is, which is quite weird since you said you we're looking for that.

You definatly have to check out "dub fx" absolutely incredible and you can truly appriciate how great this is when you watch a live performance. Little tip though, if you watch some on YouTube watch a street performance.
