Is it just me or do we have some highly strange things happening in 2013 so far?

Let me know if I'm crazy, here are some things that have happened so far this year, the Year of the Snake -

* Pope stepping down, first time in 600 years

* DHS / ICE Official Gary Mead stepping down, DHS Chief of Staff Noah Kroloff stepping down

* Hillary Clinton steps down

* Asteroid 2012 DA14 skims closer to our planet than any other known asteroid

* Russian meteor

* Fireballs seen over Russia, California, Cuba, Florida, Middle East

* Draconian gun laws proposed nationwide

* US unprecedented ammo shortages nationwide

* Huge snowstorms hit US

* Comet Ison approaching, may become brightest ever seen by humans. Ison - I Son - 12/25 - Son - Jesus

* Queen of England hospitalized, cancels all engagements, possible crowning of a King of England this year?

* Oz The Great And Powerful released

* Military / DHS Conducts helicopter training drills over Miami shooting blanks

* Hugo Chavez dead / alive MIA (?)

* Florida sinkhole swallows man

* March 22, 2013

Sorry mate....I've gotta say most of those events (other than the pope stepping down) have comparable events year after year.....I'm just not seeing anything majorly weird this year that we don't see most years.

Yes, I would say some strange events....mixed with A LOT of corruption/scandals, finally catching up with these incredibly sick people.

Well there seems to me to be a ton of both earthy and astrological first in the last year and continuing into this.

Time and again I see, never before in recorded history or never before in some context or another.

Something strange is going on. Federal non-military agencies have bought two billion rounds of ammunition in the last 10 months. The Obama Administration says that federal law enforcement agents need the ammunition for “mandatory quarterly firearms qualifications and other training sessions.”

It's very rare, depends on how it happened though. The the unfortunate bloke was as curious to go near the sinkhole and then tripped and fell in, or the sinkhole decided to launch and swallow it's nearby prey.

Sometimes curiosity killed the cat..

There is a difference between events that are rare and events that are highly strange.

All these events are fairly mundane. A few of them are rare too. None are strange.

Well we know the poor man had just gone to bed and his bed was eaten by the sink hole, i think the sink hole is a growing phenomena that is strange indeed. Strange as birds dying of blunt force trauma.

you are correct. This is shaping up to be a strange year; and it is only the beginning of this year.

A lot has happened so far.

We are living in the end times!!!

It is customary for a President's cabinet to be reshuffled after an election. The fear of draconian gun laws in the wake of two mass killings is responsible for the run on guns and ammunition. Naturally, government agencies are stockpiling ammunition because of the scarcity. But now that 2012 has come and gone without the world ending, I guess people need to find something wrong with lucky '13.
