I have seen what man can do.
I have participated in the destruction of my species.
I am not alone. I have accomplices.
The mirror is scarred with victims and aggressors.

When you look upon me, do you see evil?
Do you see yourself in my Shadow?

You should.

Your plastics, and your cars.
The choking on gluttony.
My abundance, and it's decadence.

The continued rape of the land we live in.
I am addicted to the destruction.
I am consumed with it.
I am an addict to the destruction of the World.

Look. Look closely.
You know I'm right.

Wow. It's easy to destroy. Chaos is the natural state of things. Entropy, then chaos. It takes work, effort, energy to create, to build, to grow.

Perhaps this is the destiny for everything.

You ( the subject of your poem ) are very successful as a destroyer, evidence is everywhere, these days have to really work at being blind to it. Hope your poem helps.

It does. Just getting the words out and admitting it, like an addict would.

Then again, its a shame I cant change it 100%. Only in small doses........
