I believe the next big headline in the US will make use of the sequester and its effect on the military. We will suffer some sort of attack on grounded planes/moored ships/idle personnel, and it will be blamed on the "fact," we had no money to protect them/utilize/deploy them...

Then the Demo/Repubs/Neroes will each blame the other while Rome burns...

History repeats itself...

Haha sorry to derail I really gave an honest thought to what the next headline would be. This is 'merica afterall.

Agree with you though. This whole thing does appear to be scripted. I am anxious to know what the next scene will be.

Except none of the spending cuts effect the Defense budget. They are taking out from the non-defense parts of the military budget.

Plus, we could cut half the military, and still be safe.
