Time Limit To Type?

I am so angry and very upset as well.I had spent over a half hour typing in a story
that I was submitting for the lowwc contest.When I clicked submit,my story was
dropped claiming the website was too busy!
My question,is there a time limit on typing your replies or other submissions?

Nopes.

There's been some on going issues since ATS as targeted for a DDOS attack the other day. Unfortunately there are still lingering time outs.

That's why I always use a notepad for thread writing

Happened to me yesterday, I had a very long and well though-out reply to the "Panic/Anxiety" thread. USUALLY, I copy/paste posts etc. in clipboard just in case to have a safe backup on my computer. Yesterday I did not. I clicked reply and for some reason I was logged out all of a sudden and I couldn't get back the post anymore, "p*ssed" doesn't even describe it.

WELL,I JUST TRIED AGAIN,NOW IT SAYS THERE IS A SECURITY ERROR!
I am one ticked off cat.

The attack on the site appears to be going on again. I can't get onto the site on my laptop, but my phone works fine.

I've been having all kinds of issues for 3-4 days now. All on ipad in safari.

Posts and replies that hang and refuse to post until usually 5th refresh attempt, but sometimes it requires more or less.

Clicks to next page resulting in two sets of page numbers going higher than there are pages in the thread, but no thread content.

Search results bringing back only off site results

And the bizarrest one for all for me which isn't new, is a thread that is always popping open a tab. I went to this thread once when it was posted a year ago but i've been hounded by it ever since. Reset ipad, clear history, cache, cookies, bookmarks makes no difference. I can be typing a comment or reading a thread and the tab is replaced by the one below, or it can just appear and open a new tab. Always same thread, always page 1. Bizarre!
