lurking here for years, don't know why i should of joined years ago

i am 32 years old from toronto canada.

i have read just about every thread on the main page everyday for years. this is my favourite website, i spend more time on hear than watching tv, great community on here.

since, i am new, i cant post a thread in the appropriate sections yet. have some experiences i want share.

Welcome to the family, what took you so long?

How could you have looked at all those ads for years, popping in between every fifth or sixth thread, screaming and jumping in at you from all directions. Even if you never post again you are in a much better (but not perfect) viewing space, and you get to see all the stars and flags and avatars and geese. So now, with you inside, we can finally close the door and not let anyone else in. Please share the things you know, have questions about, or experience. Enjoy the adventure!
