Hi, I have been here a while and have posted on several threads on various topics.
I decided its time for me to raise my head.
Firstly; the critter in my avatar space is "Mishpashu".
The interwebz just describes him as a water spirit.
A Native Elder on Manitoulin Island (largest fresh water island in the world) in Northern Ontario told me Mishpashu
is a protector of the people on the great lakes. He is described as a lizard creature with the face of a Lynx with horns like a cow. He lives in caves at the base of the La-cloche Mountains that end at the shore of the North Chanel of Lake Huron in Georgian Bay.

Personally, I enjoy many different subjects usually depending on my mood.
I find myself tempted to make smartarse remarks on a lot of topics but use restraint when I feel it is appropriate.
I may blend a tongue in cheek remark with a serious answer but will do my best not to troll anyone's thread.
I don't want to be accused of making a wall of text so I will stop here.

Welcome to ATS. Cool avatar by the way.

Late introductions mean you have already fed on the material inside and are therefor no longer fit to snack on. I am disappointed to say the least.

I like Cookies.

I forgot to mention, the avatar was shot on my camera phone on the North Shore of Lake Superior.
There are petroglyphs that are accessible by land if the lake level is down

That's the silliest looking cat I've ever seen.

Hi Beartracker.

Phage, Sweet Pea....you probably don't remember...but...

That's the dog you were doing the Polka with on Slayer's roof, at his last party....

You named her Lulu....and made her drink beer out of your tin foil hat...that's why Lulu looks the way she does...

Welcome to ATS, Beartracker16.

As soon as I saw your avatar, my interest was piqued. Are you familiar with the extensive work Selwyn Dewdney has done documenting pictographs such as this one? The first time I'd learned of it was from his book 'Indian Rock Paintings of the Great Lakes'.

Welcome to ATS!

It always bothered me that our ancestors who potentially spent all day playing around drawing things... could still only end up with a picture resembling some childs finger painting.

They were probably to busy lifting.
