soooo, that's what ??
a failsafe to make it OK this time too or what

Lincoln jailed the entire Maryland legislature to keep them from seceding, so what's your point ?
were any of these actions justifiable or Constitutional ??
NOOOO, but it didn't stop them, did it ?

now, given the above, Obama is either ... the biggest blowhard ever and completely full of bull OR he is planning on not adhering to the above, hence, rendering him a dictator in action.

based on his performance to date, dictator fits best.
from the Beer Summit forward.

There will be a government-created panic, as to justify Obama's actions claiming that this is doom.

Call it social engineering, call it indoctrination, call it simple manipulation, but our "dictator-in-chief" will do it.

It reminds me of the famous lines “ I am not a crook.”

The progressive PTB grand illusion is working we still point the finger at one man or one party.
Really people it is time to see the truth before you can not afford to eat or pay rent anymore.

The real problem facing this country is apathy of the mind and it shows in posts like this. What we really should be doing is not voting for one of the two parties anymore. The conservatives have seen the light when will the liberals.

Like I'm supposed to remember you can't watch videos... no wonder why you are so confused..

The bush quote was;

If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier... [Bush laughs out loud, audience laughs out loud] ...just so long as I'm the dictator [more laughter].

hmmm, i suppose that's up to you, however, it helps to know your audience

[or at least make an effort]

as for Dubya's comments, he lost me here ...

from your source

I’m basically a media creation

i knew right then, he was far too honest for the job

/sarcasm

So awesome I had to repost.

Too true.

The only fly in the ointment would be people like us who don't drink the kool-aide.

The problem that I see is not in his response, but the actual question itself. "Can't you just force them to stay" and then the woman continues to argue that the President should some how have this power. I don't understand this mentality... do these people just not understand what this country is about? Has the education system failed us this much?

This is amazing. Americans are literally begging for a dictator.

Exxon makes about 11 billion with a "B" IN PROFIT, every 3 months.

Do you know the difference between "profit" and "profit MARGIN"?

They should just have a booth with one big red button in it that reads-- "everything is going to be okay".

We could just hit that and feel better on the way home.

It's the entitlement mind-set that has oozed its way into our society.

Government is supposed to take care of us.

*egads!*

This is exactly how it will happen. Obama and his ilk will dick-up the economy so bad with their regulations and nonsensical laws that the US will devolve into chaos of shortages and strife along with austerity measures in the government that are inevitable.

Then when the time is just right and the people are sufficiently disarmed and in distress - they will beg for a dictator to side step all these checks and balances that result in gridlock. Some brave soul will begrudgingly (like Emperor Palpatine) take the reins of absolute power and promise to surrender it as soon as the "crisis" is abated.

Thing is - it never will be...there will always be a crisis.

You can see and hear it all in the rhetoric from both sides of the isle. The only thing pending is which side will get to be the dictator; behind the scenes I'm sure some power group is debating that very issue. Maybe in the Bohemian Grove?

The healthcare system is already poised to collapse under the weight of Obamacare - once it is in full implementation the lack of available care will be a crisis and people will beg for single payer system that is probably already prepared in draft form. That is exactly what it was intended to do.

The gun-grab is in full swing unless there is open rebellion it will go forward.

Carbon taxes will be the dollar collapse catalyst, then martial law and end game...

How about the insurance one, when you have a wreck they magically appear from nowhere and fix it?

Na...Obama's a tool that is used by the dictators.

I campaigned and supported his first run, did not the second time around. I think that as soon as they are in office they finally learn what it is that they are in for. Brains and spines turn to mush in D.C.

I honestly get sooo tired of the "Obama-puppet" meme. Obama is a progressive who wants the "fundamental transformation" of America.

Sad for him, most Americans don't.

"I can't do a Jedi mind-meld" to force Congress to agree to a deal, he added

Doesn't have a problem waving his hands and "saying I'm am not the problem your looking for" and the weak minded fall for it.

Mr his way or the highway is a dictator.
