Sinkhole is not 100 ft wide.Area closed off for safety is 100 ft. Sinkhole is 30 ft. wide.
A 100 foot wide hole would have swallowed entire house.

This would be like something out of a horror movie! Imagine just sleeping in your bed and...poof, the earth opens up and devours you.


Just horrible! My condolences to the family. The brother was a brave man.

Use those vacuum systems they use to excavate gravel from a seabed or mud from sewer drains. Keep doing it until the guy is visible.

Wow, I just read an article where they just began to demolition the house. Geesh, they didn't even try to save this guy. That's totally sad.

If he wasn't before, he sure will be now.
