We are smack in the middle of the time of year that the orionids and leonids meteor showers occur. Meteor Showers

Could this be the cause of all the strange happenings in the last couple of days?

Is Commander-keen-kid around? I'm not much of an astronomer.

Does anybody else know if there is unusual activity from space watching websites etc?

Hmmm... member "They see all" is on global ignore for some reason.

Military movements could just be normal election security, supply line movements (two wars are going on don't you know
) or terror alert related.

As for the bright objects seen in the sky...like I said it's meteor shower season.

Anyone belong or frequent those space weather or SOHO type sites that can interpret them?

Global ignore? How do you check to see what other members are on global ignore?

Apparently there are loud explosions and lights being seen crashing too.

He (she?) posted an answer to this thread and when I clicked on it it was not there. Count the number of replies and see the number displayed on the "Recent Posts Page" they don't add up. Another member pointed out that he/she was calling all this a hoax before being placed on Global Ignore.

Hell I may be as well for posting this stuff.

remember its Halloween!
