Salutations. How is everyone on these forums?
Here's my story, and blessed be those who listen and lend some guidance.
Allow me to introduce myself. I'm rather nervous. I feel stupid and incredibly ignorant. I never paid attention in school. So my amount of knowledge is practically that of a rock. I've stumbled onto this website a few times reading about conspiracies and such. I just turned 20, and I'm tired of such an ignorant lifestyle. To describe my ignorance, my social abilities are incredibly poor. I barely converse with my parents, and only have 1 friend that lives a state away. Please forgive me if I come off asking for pity, that is not what I want.. After about 2 years of drugs, I left that behind because now I'm following a spiritual path. And the more I follow this path the more I feel a desire to just know.
So this is my inquiry: I want to get up to speed, and I don't know where to look. A while a back I stumbled upon Illuminati and prophecy videos and documentaries on YouTube. One person in particular, Mark Dice, is giving some sort of motivation because he is right - people are stupid and uninformed. I see that in myself, and don't take it as an insult. As of now, I'm trying to get up to speed reading the bible, which I began about 8 months with twenty-some books remaining. I'm beginning to study prophecy, but the thing is I get caught up because I barely know anything. I really want to read and test things. I want to watch the documentaries, and compare them to other sources. I also want to get into reading the news, about current events, and read and learn. However I barely know anything about the president, nor the way the government works. I can't tell you a thing about the economy, or what the branches are or do. But I am starting to see the lies in the world that are making me want to learn and learn. I try to read the news, but then I get lost because I feel like I'm stuck in this labyrinth because I read an article that puts into overload about 100 new things I need to look into. And what I read I don't retain well, so I'm beginning to take notes on things. I've been learning about how Rothschild's allegedly funded both sides of the wars since the French Revolution, and how the Illuminati was exposed by the Bavarian government which also abolished them and arrested the members while others fled. I'm seeing how school had such diluted teachings about things. I was told Columbus discovered America. And the old world knew about it for hundreds of years before Columbus. But that's about all I know up to now. And I want to test these things. I'm even questioning things in my own faith, because I feel the church is not what the bible is.
So can anyone be as so kind as to lead me in the right direction? Where and how I can pick up and retain as much information as I can regarding: politics, current world issues, economics, history, and whatever ties into these things within the next year or two?
I just want to bust this pesky labyrinth into a straight line (though I know there will always be a labyrinth).
I feel selfish to have to ask this, and I already wish I could do something for anyone who comes to help, because I am just so low. (Seriously. No pity please. I'm not a bitch... Completely.). Even if I don't get what I am looking for, I am grateful just to know someone took the time to read this.
