Fireball Seen Over Andrews AFB

I have spotted a fireball streak across the sky at Andrews AFB. It looked like it had a trail behind it of about 100 feet, then disapated as the fireball went out of my field of vision. That was pretty freaky. I managed to take a picture with my dads camera that I was using at the time, I was taking pictures of some friends, and I spotted this and switched the camera into IR mode, anybody else see anything like this around here? It seemed to be heading towards Waldorf and losing altitude. Ill try and find out more

I just called a "friend" over at Channel 8 (news channel) they said they caught a seperate one going north on camera, hes faxing me a few of the pix right now. Ill try and get them up as soon as possible

Falling komet or meteorite?

Does your friend know why/what's going on????

Okay, I just got faxed 2 images, but 1 had nothing at all in it, probaly clicked too late, and this one he dropped the camera upon taking the picture and it streaked. But this is starting to get strange Meteors? Doubtful

Weird look like a slit in the sky or something moving extremely fast

copters seen in the sky, this photo of andrews....really weird stuff going on!

6 or 7 Blackhawks just took off from the the pad about a mile away from my house on base, they flew over my house pretty damn low too (bastards), and were going south bound, toward the first "fireball". Im gonna turn my dads plice scanner on and see if I can get anything

Hey, i live near Devon, the guy in that article says we can contact him for the picture so im going to see if i can do that.

Also the green flash he describes seems to fit the image michael jackson posted above!

The emergency sirens for Andrews AFB have just sounded telling us to stay in our homes and for no reason to come out. (# that!) I wanna know what the # is going on around here, and I wanna know NOW, or eventually!!

Damn goverment is probaly breaking there knees stopping them from playing the story

First of all, where is Andrews AFB located? Second of all, have they ever sounded their sirens before? How do you know it means to stay in your home? Could it just be a test of their emergency broadcast system?

I'm in Orange County California and have not noticed any military activity in the sky. During the week we generally have some military activity, chinooks or something that look like them fly over in the a.m. going east and in the p.m. they are heading west. I haven't seen anything this weekend.

Andrews AFB is in the middle of Maryland, the sirens sound like Air Riad Sirens then a voice comes over and tells us to stay inside and not come out. If it were a test they would say its a test, but they didnt.
