Howdy folks. Just found this little nugget of a blog indicating that, depending on the subject matter, the U.S. Department of Defense may be keeping tabs on your blog. No big surprise for anyone here I'm sure, but it's an interesting write-up anyway.

I was doing my regular weblog checks, when I stumbled across a very interesting ISP, we had a visit from an IP that belongs to the DoD Network Information Center. They visited our...Cache Evidence article.

If you haven't already, I also recommend checking out this blogger's other pieces as well. Quite the investigative journalist!

Peace out.

Hi, a more accurate title description would be;

Department of Defense Monitors *

That's true, but I know profanity is frowned upon in these parts.

No profanity. The asterisk is a wildcard in computing terms. Department of Defense Monitors [insert word here].

Yep you said it, not
surprising at all. And as you stated,
most of us are aware of this monitoring.

However, if you were the head of one of these
security agencies, wouldn't you monitor whatever
was needed to stay in the loop?

I'd monitor ATS, there are some Obama hating mf'ers here.
Posters here have said they'd hang him, shoot him, all kinds of things.

If my job at the Secret Service is to protect the President
I'd certainly set up ATS as one to watch. But there's no need
because I'm sure it already exists,haha.
