Maybe Jesus is just talking about the sun and it is just a personification in mythology. (That argument can be said in almost every case
with spiritual/mythological scriptures)
The "personification in mythology" was a Canaanite Myth (of what we know now as the planet, Venus) that Isaiah would have been familiar with and
commonly known enough at the time that he could use it as a simile (of the king of Babylon) that his readers would get. A couple thousand years later,
people didn't get it because the myth hadn't remained current, so later Bible readers equated it with Satan.
We know now because of cuneiform tablets in Ugaritic, with the story, that have been dug up and translated.
