Whats up? anything in the news?

Any unusual millitary activity anywhere in the globe where it shouldnt be.

Skeptics origonal pic: that is an unsually large formation of choppers over civillian airspace too... very wierd?

Since it seems the choppers came from Canada, I'm looking at the Canadian media now. Just went through three news orgs, nothing.

Well I live about 40 miles from the Pemberton area and I haven't seen any Copters. Just more than usual plane activity from the Ft. Dix/McGuire area. Then again if the are heading South I might not be able to see them. I have my camera ready if I see anything, also may break out my old Uniden scanner, see if I can hear anything

till now nothing on the news!! really weird!

Uh oh.. I wonder what the hell is going on.. Those look like a couple chinooks and several blackhawks.

I wonder if they were all heading to the "crash site" in NJ? You know, it wouldn't hurt the authorities to give us at least a general idea of what is actually happening here. Enough anxiety is already on the line at this point in time.

The police and fire department in my area have been going around telling everyone to evacuate the streets.

Man. What the hell is going on.

I am in New Jersey on the shore.

I didnt hear much so i turned on my Police Scanner and this is no joke i have all NYPD Tactical Frequencys SOD And ESU for all NYC (Special Operations Division) & (Emergency Service Units) there was streets blocked off do to something but since im in Yonkers which is pretty far i couldnt hear that well but people had to go throught other streets like a detour.. the 61st street was closed and people had to take other streets to go around i dont know what the hells going on.. if i hear anything else ill advise asap!

Diffinitly helocopters. I can regognize the bottom one as either a CH47 Chinnok(Army)or a CH46 Sea Knight(Marines and Navy). I am a Marine(supply), but used to be in the airwing, so am used to seeing flights of multiple helocopters. Its kind of unusuall to see several types in a flight though. Usually they fly tandom.

Ok.. but a few days ago i saw a chinook fly over my head not transporting anything it just flew back and forth it was low too my father said it went one way and then an hour later came back in the opposite direction.
