Ah Jeez , another Half Truth, Slanted Gun Thread.

Ah Jeez, another whiny response.....

If they were after ALL guns , then you could put Forth the idea that its "people control'

It can be put forth now.....they will not go after an all out grab...use common sense, they want to avoid open rebellion.

HOWEVER, sense they want to ban only High Performance Human Killing Guns, and Related Loading Devices, this Thread is , as many others were , Bunk.

I do not know where to begin to this line of ignorant reasoning. The only think I find "bunk" is your description of what they want to ban.

Didnt watch the Vids,(honest), dont have to. There are many Passionate people over this Issue, finding a Secret Service Agent that feels that way... Are you Surprised.

Gee, thanks for the honesty.....I always find keeping closed minds and remaining ignorant helps me to respond to something intelligently and unbiased as well

I am not surprised, you are liable to find more and more people pointing out the questionable policies of this current president as time rolls on.

And the Usual Liberal turning Socialist Angle???? Please. Didnt one of the Favorite GOP Pres, Reagan "attack" the 2nd during his Presidentcy?

Guess what, we didnt go Socialist then, and aint gonna happen Now.

But circle the Wagons, Re-act in horror, we have another Gun Thread.

Everything since 9/11 has been laying the foundation towards becoming a socialist nation, Obama just seems to have gotten a master plumber's license and is laying pipework more than any other president in history.

Oh so, you can prove that the country will never go into a socialist, communist, or dictatorial regime how exactly again?

I will keep those wagons a circling don't you worry, as long as there remains people who admit closed mindedness and openly admitting ignorant bias while spewing refuse out of thier mouths they will indeed continue.

On a recent clip and mag thread a few made the same point as the above and hardly any stars were handed out. It just shows that many talking about this on both sides dont understand, from a real use standpoint, how stupid the mag and clip limit thingy is.

Agreed, kind of a Pelosi thing to do.......lets pass laws without looking at all the available evidence first....

let me guess ... from what you said here ...

how Obama never even mentioned it in his first four years of office.

It doesn't seem to be an issue at the forefront of politicians agendas.

would clearly explain why it is specifically mentioned in Obamacare, why it was specifcally discussed in regard to the SAT (Small Arms Treaty) and it's been discussed openly since shortly after the Beer Summit, yet somehow, this is all what ?? news to you ?

surely you jest

edit to add -- btw, regarding 'control', how's this news grab ya ??
forwarded from a friend earlier ... Student gets suspended for disarming gunman

A Florida high school student wrestled a loaded gun away from another teen on the bus ride home this week and was slapped with a suspension in return.
- snip -
The school’s referral slip said he was given an “emergency suspension” for being involved in an “incident” with a weapon.
- snip -
Meanwhile, the student accused of pointing the weapon has been charged only with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon “without intent” to kill.

the last part is what really gets my goat

now, i'm not commenting on this incident here (as i'm sure someone will start a thread on it soon enough), however, with a story like the above, i'm beginning to think the liberals have no idea WHAT they really want.

my first 3 questions go like this ... on bus ride home ?
where was the gun during school hours ?
why no charges against the parent of the gun-wielding student ?
why isn't the "hero" of this story receiving accolades from his community ????

They dont want all guns, yet.

Governments of the world work by using incremental-ism. Otherwise the backlash and resistance would be too great. Rights and freedoms have to be stripped slowly: Patriot Act, warrant-less spying, suspension of habeas corpus, indefinite "detention", NDAA, torture, citizen kill lists... you get the idea.

I find a so many of these regulations seem to be targeted toward the "heat of the moment" event. Take CA's ridiculous "bullet button" law which states a tool must be needed to remove the magazine.

i have a friend that made a simple clip on piece for the AR15 that pushes on the bullet button and can be put on or taken off as needed.(ie a semifixed tool)

He has been selling them under the table to anyone with a AR15 as long as we do not let people see the device.
We know as soon as the state finds out they will ban the guns and/or device.

There are a couple 10 round mag extensions being worked on to convert 10 round mags to 30+rounds.

One i have seen you remove the bottom plate and spring from the mag and replace it with a 50 round drum.

"High Performance Human Killing Guns"

That is so awesome.

Next:

High Performance Human Head Crushing Devices (hammers)

High Performance Pointed Human Insertion Tools (knives)

High Performance Long Range Human Insertion Tools (swords)

High Performance Electric Human Incapacitators (stun guns)

High Performance Human Lung Fillers (pools)

I can get a lot more ridiculous but i think my target audience gets the point

Taking away any freedom is the opposite of freedom. Its only takes one time, before how suddenly it becomes "acceptable" ... then what?

My only response is this......

Are you f**king kidding me!!!

Yet more insanity due to no tolerance policy *sigh*, I'm at the point where I no longer want to be on this ride anymore.....I'd like to get off now.

I am sure that your questions while very pertinent are most likely not even being considered because simply put they just do NOT care. It is not about preventing violence anymore, I am almost assuredly certain now that it at NO point ever was about it. It's like in Braveheart if we can't get them to go along with "the plan" we will breed it out of them, or in this case "indoctrinate it out of them".

I completely agree. So many people around the world have been conned into thinking that gun restrictions are for their personal safety. It's all a lie.

well, i certainly don't disagree with ya, but i'd like to point out the other thing that really gets my goat about this.

this very brave, young man is now scarred for life with an "emergency suspension" on his permanent record

i can totally understand sending him home for few days, but a 'suspension' ???
wtf

i hope the family fights the bureaucracy forced upon this hero and clears his path for a brighter future than this 'mark' would permit.

to me it's just wrong on so very many levels that i couldn't list them all.
couple this with the recent 'special treatment' provided to the MI officer's loss and i'm totally at a loss for words without completely abandoning T&C

btw, we don't author threads so should anyone desire bringing this story to the attention of others, feel free.

I hope the family fights it also.....welcome to the new USA where innocent people get punished just for being a victim. I may write a thread about it if nobody else picks up on it after a while. I can't say I blame you as far as thread authoring....most of what I write does not generate alot of attention. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a bit disheartening.

If every gun in existence were to magically disappear, I'd be all for it.

But that doesn't seem like it will ever happen. Since they aren't going anywhere, those who want it for protection should have them. And getting rid of certain guns, or banning them completely in the U.S. would empower both criminals and the government.

several posters use this login.
it wouldn't be fair to the 'community' to author threads as a single entity.
besides, time constraints limit my ability to properly maintain one.

as for the Gun Control Myth ... it could be resolved by simply removing the "Gun" part and calling it what it is ... the "Control Agenda".

the ... if you have it, we want to 'control' it ... agenda.
doesn't matter if it's hutzpah, honor, integrity, guns, cannons or a host of materialistic items ... they want control of it all.

in my younger day, all of the parents of the children on the bus that day would have gotten together and thrown a party/celebration/dinner for the young, brave, boy who saved the day ... that was our reality then, sadly today, it's only script for a sitcom.
