The 320 gigapixel image of London was created by stitching together 48,640 images, making
the BT Tower Panorama a new record for the world’s largest panoramic photo.

Take a look here at the entire panorama using the circular scroll feaure
that takes you 360 around London!

There is also a zoom tool, very fun!
btlondon2012.co.uk...

The compilation picture here is cool, the panorama is awesome!

www.buzzfeed.com...

360Cities completed the work, processing the images took longer than three months.

Also, for those who love searces, Three "Buzby" mascots are hidden around the city,
use the zoom tool to find them.

There is another thread from last week covering this, but it is an astonishing image... But why London! So dreary and overcast!

Good find. Impressive camera. I was zooming in on peoples shoes a quarter mile away and there is a big ferrous wheel with people in it. Each pod holds a lot of people. S&F for finding this interesting site.

Gigapan.com is a good site too. This one is on par with that. So these "new" cameras and the tech behind them may be the new Google Earth of the future.

Yes, amazing quality! I can see right into the windows, some are quite messy,
and a lot of messy roofs too. Wow the stuff on the roofs is pretty lol.

There's a blacked out area on a map? Surely this is evidence for aliens, a nazi star base, a stargate, a blackhole or Nibiru.
