Austrian Yemen hostage appeals for ransom in video

(Reuters) - An Austrian man taken hostage in Yemen in December has appeared in a video posted on YouTube, saying he would be killed if ransom money was not paid to a Yemeni tribe within a week.

Dear Lord, i hope USA and EU pay the ransom and save this man.

Sadly they won´t pay his ransom, and he will die.

This serves the interest of the TPTB better, as it will rile the public into hating these "muslim bastards" and want them dead. There is no humanity left in TPTB, sadly.

He is not the first, and won´t be the last, there are hundreds of such videos already as well as the accompanying "execution videos" produced when the ransom was not paid. Very gory affairs, usually.

You would have to be a fool to visit those countries as a westerner today.

Sadly, there seem to be many fools around.

That poor man, I hope the someone can pay for his release...And then put a bullet in each kidnappers head.

Why should the U.S pay?

I guess a Austrian kidnapped by a Tribe, is going to be the U.S's fault too.

There is no way for the ransom to be paid, for it will only encourage and embolden them and future kidnappers.

I plead that the hostage takers free the hostages UNCONDITIONALLY and seek redemption.

There had NEVER been even one case whereby kidnappers LIVED to enjoy their gains. Divine retribution is real and is visited upon them and their families, sooner or later, as ultimately, NO MATTER the reasons, the kidnappers are in the wrong.

Every human's gift of life from our common Creator is precious....
