Cardinal Keith O'Brien, Britain's most senior Catholic clergyman, should be allowed to decide for himself whether to take part in next week's Vatican conclave to select the next Pope after allegations he made "inappropriate advances" to other priests, according to the former Archbishop of Westminster, Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor. Three priests and one former priest in Scotland have reported Cardinal O'Brien to the Vatican over the claims, which stretch back 30 years.

The Cardinal supports priests having sex and marrying.
It is possible that these accusations, which have been made in the last couple of days yet date back decades, are in response to the Cardinal supporting priests marrying.
Priests should be allowed to marry and have sex, says Britain's top Catholic
Are these charges a political move by conservative elements in the Catholic church to discredit a Cardinal who wishes to allow priests to marry?
I don't know, but it is a possibility.

I would never defend a sex offender but you can't just call someone sex beast when you don't really know the facts... Rthe poster above comments are completely valid.. Innocent until proven guilty.. This is only a smear campaign...
If a few members here claimed you were a 'sex beast', does it mean it's true?
