Small rant on today and just now.

Would members please be a little more considerate when writing their thread titles? They don't realize that when they write things like, This happened just now!, that thread will still be around 48 hours from 'just now'. If a newsworthy event took place 'Today', well that 'Today' thread could have been started three years ago.

Please avoid these time markers because (if you're like me) I rarely look at the tiny date stamp on threads until I've wasted twenty minutes reading it.

Yeah, I get a bit grumpy when I open a thread on "Earthquake just now!" and before reading it I go out for a smoke and tell my smoke buddies that an earthquake is happening just now. Then I come back to find out the thread is from 2007.

I know it doesn't bother a lot of members, but there have been times when a post shows up on the front page here; I open it and read the OP and a few replies, and then I get a hint that it's not current. Not current as in five years old. I hate that!
