about guns, showed every time he/she posted.

Love when uneducated people post like they have in-depth knowledge...

And what exactly am I missing thats relevant?

Are you suggesting my arguments are less valid because I dont know on the sight the difference between a gun that shoots a bullet a second to one that shoots 3?

I know enough about guns to know a bunch of people walking into a gov building with loaded weapons proves nothing except that those who took part meant it as a threat and therefore should not be entitled to guns

This debunks nothing and to me just proves how stupid your average gun owner actually is. Just seems like a bunch of idiots looking for an excuse to walk around with a gun and feel like Rambo. Comes across basically as a threat, you make a threat to use your weapon, even an implied one, you shouldnt be allowed to own one. Is this what Americans actually want? a country where everyone walks around with Automatic weapons slung over their shoulders? Pics like this arre similar to what you see in Afghanistan or fricken Yemen. Yall must be proud From the photos it mainly looked like a bunch of hillbillys, is this a good representation or cross section of American society?

It's a good thing that our Founding Fathers didn't have your attitude, or this country would still be under the British thumb. Your remarks are so full of hatred and ignorance, that you get the Darwin Award.

So you see guns as threatening? must be sad to live in fear like that.
I've been around many people and many guns and many people with guns
and have had many guns, and have never felt threatened just because they were
there.
It's a tool / object like a laptop, or a lamp, or a rake. It has its uses, it by its self is
no threat at all, nor in the hands of a trained and legal citizen.

But by all means, have fun in your fearful world.

I'm off, have other stuff to get done. (and i actually mean what i say rather than a childish attempt
for attention.)

I would disagree with you here, I don't think I would dare even point my firearm at someone else while in that rally - these are trained gun owners, from a gun culture, that have taken gun safety courses. It is common knowledge not to ever point a gun at someone else, even if it is unloaded, ever.

Give an assault rifle to someone in a liberal state, and sure they will go all Rambo on everyone. Like what happened in every mass shooting.

Australia got out from "the British thumb" without a single bullet being fired, so did Canada, and India, and Malaysia and about 80 other countries.

Simple question for ya, do you support convicted murderers with severe mental issues having their right to bear arms infringed?

If you do then you are against the constitution or you admit thats its outdated and needs to be changed for our times.

If you approve of Murderers being able to get guns, well basically your just sick, selfish and asking for trouble.

Still waiting for someone to come out and say they have no issues with the criminally insane being able to freely access weapons, that person (while definately lacking in intelligence) is a true constitutionist, the rest of you are just hypocrites who care about guns and are using the 2nd as a justification for your fetish.

If the constitution was what you cared about there would be no TSA or Patriot act or the heap of other BS that goes against what the FF envisioned for your country

Your argument isn't valid because legally they weren't threatening anyone, they were freely assembled and peaceful.

Feeling threatened by inanimate objects doesn't qualify as a threat unless the person wielding said object makes a threatening action towards you.

I can only imagine how terrifying it must be for you to get into automobiles.

Its not a tool its a weapon!!!!! you have a go at me for not knowing about guns yet you fail to correctly identify it for what it is

But by all means, have fun in your fearful world.

I dont fear guns, their not a reality in my world, its not something I have to deal with a daily basis.
I always find it Ironic when gun owners accuse "gun grabbers" of being fearful. Every single excuse for wanting a gun bar hunting is based on fear, the reality is gun owners are the fearful ones

If I am not allowed to own / carry a gun, then why should anyone else be allowed to own / carry? If my rights to carry are taken away (which is an oxymoron by the way, if you think about it) then I don't think police or body guards should carry weapons.

If these hippie liberals want to make cities safer, and they say cities are safer with no guns, then why do cops need guns?

Cops are not superhuman, they are regular people with a job, just like me. If I cant own / carry a gun, then they shouldn't either. If I cant be trusted with a gun, no one else should be either, never mind the fact that criminals don't obey laws, and gun tight cities are crap holes.

Liberal Logic Fail. I don't understand how a Liberal can call him or herself an American, I don't mean any offense by it, I am just truly dumbfounded.

Are you serious?????
Please tell me you being facetious

You dont see the implied threat by a bunch of people rocking up to a gov office with loaded weapons?
Once again if it wasnt a threat why not just turn up with placards?

No one has even attempted to answer this question yet, would you care to try?

I see the implied message, that is we have rights protected by the Constitution and you will not take it away because of the actions of a select, evil few.

While the law abiding remain as such, they are free to bear arms, vote, and do all that other great stuff that makes America unique. I'm comfortable with this, having spent time around thousands of armed individuals, and not seeing any of the weapons get up and make a bad decision on their own.

To answer your question specifically, guns speak louder than placards, even when they are not being fired.
Had they shown up with signs only, we wouldn't be here discussing their peaceful assembly, would we.

And all those people walked into a government building and spoke also.

So by your logic, it must have been threatening speech.

Enjoying your constitutional rights is not a threat.

Guns are carried by LAW-ABIDING citizens in order to protect themselves.....NOT to threaten.

Last comment to you.

I already did but will do it again. The constitution gives them the right. Besides I dont think the folks at the capital see these folks with distrust. Try this in NY were the elitist see folks as cattle and you might have a problem. In NY the heads out there would see this as sort of a Planet of the Apes episode gone bad.

I don't see the use of an unloaded gun.

Hard to protect yourself that way right?

Unless you throw it at the offender as you're running away.....

It's ironic that the psyops being waged against the American people in attempts to disarm isn't having the desired effect, but the exact opposite.

I've been saying it for some time. They aren't actually trying to disarm Americans. They are trying to make us overreact. And we really are playing right into their hand.
Things are never as they seem.

I don't know exactly what their plan is....but I can assure you, what you think their plan is, is not what their plan is.

I'll give you an example. Fox News has been saying for a while that "Obama will confiscate guns, and install socialism." Do you really think Fox News is some lone wolf crying out in the night? They're the biggest network around, and are obviously part of it!

You guys really are just playing right into their hand, not against it like they've led you to believe.

The people at the rally think they've done something great. But they didn't really do anything.

More division.

*sigh*

Folks, this rally was awesome to read about. But if we are to maintain the freedoms we currently enjoy, then we need to encourage and embrace folks who disagree with the 2nd Amendment rights. Those in government who wish to take away weapons only encourage divisiveness.

Also, don't forget gravity.

I saw something today saying THOUSANDS of people die every year because of gravity!!

How will the nanny state fix that??
