Man sues parents for not loving him enough

A 32-year-old Brooklyn man is suing his parents, claiming he wasn't loved enough by them and that their neglect has caused him to be homeless and jobless. Bernard Bey filed a self-written lawsuit in Brooklyn court earlier this month, accusing his parents of causing him mental anguish and for making him feel "unloved and beaten by the world." "If you have kids, you're expected to love your children," Bey told NBC 4 New York. "You want the best for your children." Bey claimed he was physically and emotionally abused and ran away from home when he was 12, and then was in and out of the shelter system after turning 16. He's spent time in jail and is now homeless, and he believes his parents are at the root of his problems. Bey is asking the court for more than $200,000 in damages. He wants his parents to mortgage their family home and purchase two franchises like Domino's Pizza.

How low can you go? I screwed my life up so I'll cry mommy and daddy didn't love me enough. Now give me money so I can buy a couple of pizza shops.

Geeze Louise ...
Such a sign of the times.
He should go have lunch with one of the few remaining
Holocaust survivors. I hope the subject of his lawsuit comes up.
Great threads always Buster.

Bey said he is willing to drop the lawsuit if his family will simply sit down at the dinner table with him.

"Let's work together, and definitely, I'll drop the suit," he said.

This man is looking for anything he can to get some positive attention from people he expects to love him. It's sad that people think they have to go to such extremes just to get a little love.

His parents should just invite him over for dinner and give him a big ole hug......problem solved!

Has he ever thanked her mom for carrying and feeding and caring for him ?

Where is this crazy train going?

These people are empty inside and they show how empty they are.

Maybe he is right...He should sue his parents for not aborting him....hehe

On a side note we say it is every woman's right to have a child no matter what, but then when these children are brought into the world with zero ability or desire of the parents to actually raise them we let the parents off the hook as if they are not at fault at all.

Would be kind of funny to see a precedence in court of children suing their parents for being bad parents. Maybe then people might think before having children that they cannot afford or have little desire to care for.

Your success or failure as a human being is your own, I have numerous friends whose parents where either abusive or absent from their life.

For the most part they made the choice to get over it and better themselves for their own sake, this guy needs to grow up and deal with the situation he created.

Another dysfunctional family, or dysfunctional family member.

Someone needs to take this childish 30 year old out and spank him for being a silly twit. He’s hardly going to make his partents like him any more by suing them. What a moron. He just needs to move on and get a life.
